The church seems old, an altar at the front and rows of seats stretching back. There is a dusty path leading down form the altar, down the aisle between the seats, and into the distant darkness.

I mean, there was no glass. The frame was there, in the middle, but no glass.
If that wasn't your brain deceiving you... Was that a chuckle you hear from inside?

"Thanks again for taking me this far" I say as I pay him and head off towards the house

"It's that way!" She pointed down the road into the forest as she drove her carriage away, leaving you alone in the cold night. There were other houses on the road you were on, but they were in the other direction.
"Ah...thank you." Tantei was really hoping all these rumors are false, heading towards the house the air just seemed a bit more colder to him as he reaches the door.

"It's okay," Emily still seemed hostile. "I'll just stab you with my needle a couple of times in the Game, nothing big. Try to go near Emma again and worse things will happen." She seemed to ignore your comment about bring in a broken down home and something happening. "The Game begins in the room at the end of this hallway." She continued, standing up. "I'm going, now. Please don't take your time. Everybody is busy." She, like Emma, also left the room."
I glare at her then think, this was obviously a dangerous game likely we had to kill the others in some way, and i'd have to watch out for Emily she definitely had a thing for Emma or something. I gather my thoughts and head out.

Towards the house? You see no house down the road, so you just continue down the road. It's very dark but you can make out the lines of trees around you, but you hear no sign of animal life. Eventually you come to a place where a smaller road diverges off of the main road, the main road continuing on straight while the small road turns left.

So do you head down the road as the coachman directed or do you go to one of the other houses in the other direction? Your post was kind of ambiguous.

You found yourself in the hallway again. Emily had told you where to go to begin the games, so you should probably hurry.
Although, you hear sounds of crying from the room across of the one you'd just exited.

Velos sighed and looked outside for any sort of road or path.

I follow the main road, not sure what could be down the small road but will investigate later
