Iist stopped walking, staying quiet and still so it could stop following her. She stared at the cricket's legs. 'Is the key to stopping it through its smaller legs...?'

She braced herself behind her sword, waiting for an opening where she could safely slash at the cricket's smaller legs without getting hurt.

"It's eyes??" Iist looked up at the cricket's milky eyes, waiting for a time to strike. She ran up to it and jumped at its head, slashing at both of its eyes, then quickly pushed herself off the crickets legs with her feet, flipping back onto the ground.
