You decide it would be best to take a break, You put the pup down on a patch of grass and go in search for a river. To your luck, there is a small running brook. You lap up a bit of water, and go back to the pup before bringing it over to the river to dirnk.

After bowing playfully, you run off a short distance and look back at the wolf. It hesitantly follows you. You let it catch up, but then run full sprint away again.

You can't seem to find any lone wolves. In this terrain, wolves either have a pack or die. Your chances of finding a lone wolf are quite low.

When you wake again, you start your quest for wolves. The desert is a dry, lifeless place, but you are determined to find a packmate in this horrible terrain.

Feeling the mountains didn't hold whatr you were looking for, you decide to head to the desert. This would be an extremely long journey, taking about a day and a half. Are you sure you would like to leave the mountains?
