In the center of the room there was a raised dias, and on the dias there was a table, and on the table, there was something, but you couldn't see from where you are, because, one, the room is huge and there was still a distance to the dias, and two, because it was raised high. Welcome, Nidia... The voice floated through the air.

``What is this place?`` She asked the voice, her eyes wide while she walked to the podium and table.

"Stop moving, girl." The man from before's voice sounded behind you. "Resist, and you loose your life."

Why, it's a room, of course...
You walk up to the podium, climbing some steps on the side. You approach the table, to see a chess set on top of it.

Something glowing floated on the other side of the table. On the chess set, your side was black, and the glowing thing's side was white. Only a black queen stood on your side, along with a knight. On the white side, no pieces were missing.
So, Nidia... you wish to save your friends?

"Feisty, ey?" He said. "Now listen. Why are you here? Looking for your friend again?"

" yes.... " she said a slight growl " But You haven't seen Him so why so interested?"

She took a closer look at the chess set. What did that mean? Did it mean that she had lost?
``Yes, I do.``

"Well, it took some time to forge all the intricate stuff in, so it'll be 2 silvers and fifty coppers." He said happily.

I hesitate and after a minute hand the money over, thinking it might be useful at some point. "I'll buy it, can I put it on?"
