"My cheek." Scar said. He could feel the burning sensation and he wanted to collapse but he didn't. He needed to stay strong.

Jelen looked at it, and then went into the kitchen. She came back with a glass of water, and said "Drink all of it."

Scar drank the water. His vision got slightly blurry and he knew there had been something in the water to make him most likely collapse and not feel the pain but he still felt it.

Jelen put a small pill in Scar's mouth, and he started to fall asleep. She washed the wound and inspected it more closely. She gasped at what she saw and realized she would have to cut away part of his cheek.

Scar felt the burning and he so badly just wanted to scream to let out of the pain that he had kept caged up. He felt something but he dismissed it as nothing. He could see Ela's face when she had been healthy. She loved him and he loved her but would they ever get time to be alone or even settle down?

Breathing heavily, Jelen took a clean scalpel and made the mark on Scar's cheek where to cut it away. She sliced through it, the napkin she held stopping major blood flow. After cutting away the wound, she patched it and stitched together what she could. She washed the blood away and gave him more pain relievers, now that the cut was only physical.

Suddenly the pain was gone. He sighed in relief. Everything was okay. He smiled in his drowsy state.

Putting Scar to bed, Jelen discussed something with Ela.

Scar felt strange though. He thought of Ela and then an image flashed in his mind. He saw Ela's face in pain. He shifted nervously.

After a few hours, Jelen came back and put two bowls of chicken broth by Jelen and Scar.
