He heard her whimpering and sniffed as well,now able to again and his yellow eyes widened like heck and it was clear he was scared. He held her careful and gently to his chest as he stepped back and then rushed forward,bashing his back to the door and forcing his way in and then sniffing and realizing it was from the bedroom. "No.." He muttered. He quickly moved to go to the bedroom,shaking because he feared what happened while he had been off looking for Akira.

She continued whimpering. If anything had happened to Clarity, it would've been her fault. Her fault entirely.

He wasn't sure about bringing her to a situation with blood so quickly set her on the couch and put the blanket over her gently and then dashed to the bedroom on his own and he froze in the door way,if his face could have paled it would have. "Shade!" he yelled in anger and fright. That woke the Shadow and he sat up,rubbing his eyes and staring at Justice in confusion.

She hopped down, whimpering softly as she climbed under the table and curled up into a ball. She quickly covered her ears, wincing softly at her left paw.

Shade realized that Justice was there...there.And he was practically on top of his little sister who now had...a broken wing and was passed out on a red spot on the bed. "Uh oh." He said as Justice came over and grabbed him by the throat and yanked him off,throwing him to the side with a huge bash as the shadow hit the wall,losing the air in his lungs as he dropped to the ground. He growled as he stood again and glared at Justice,holding his ribs. "Her fault,she wouldn't shut up." He hissed and Justice spun to face him again,stamping over the small distance and punching him straight in the face,causing Shade to reel back. "SHE'S FOUR! AND SHE WAS SAD!" He yelled,swinging at Shade again and hitting him right in the chest. Soon Shade was swinging to,both boys angry and swinging,kicking and clawing. Justice trying to subdue Shade to check on his little sister and Shade trying to pulverize Justice for lashing out on him.

Akira tried blocking out the sounds, but it didn't work. She was so scared. Clarity had gotten hurt, and it was her fault. If she hadn't tried to run away, it wouldn't have happened. That thought process went through her mind over and over again.

Finally,after a minute or two,Justice knocked Shade out and he went quickly to Clarity,who was still out cold. He gently took her into his arms,cradling her broken wing best he could with a paw and he started shaking. "You'll be okay,Clare.I promise." He said softly,then he started walking out of the room,her feathers no longer a beautiful white but now a dark red. "I'm going to the ER.I'm sorry Akira,I just have to go." he said,quickly going out the door and going to the ER,but it was farther into town,around the very center. Clarity didn't wake or whimper,didn't giggle or smile and say it was a joke. Her sweet little eyes didn't pop open,full of joy and life. She was limp and still. So unlike her.

She didn't say anything nor follow him. She continued to believe that it was her fault everything had ended up like this.

After a while Shade dragged himself up,bleeding in multiple areas,and walked out. He closed the front door,swearing softly that now they had to fix the lock that Justice had busted,and looked over to Akira. "Hey." He said gently,voice hoarse and as beaten up as he was after fighting Justice for real.

She looked up at him sadly. " H-hi..."
