Scar went out to get drunk and hopefully not feel the pain he felt. The wound had been intended for Ela he was guessing. He closed his eyes and soon found himself at the bar.

Uto and Jelen kept talking quietly, trying to work out a way to get Ela out of the city. "That hospital needs to be shut down. Taking blood samples without permission, then using them to cure the plague? Crazy. We need to get her out through the main gate, as if were just traveling."

Scar wished he could do something to stop the pain. He decided to go to Ela's house just briefly. He wanted to tell her something.

Uto and Jelen stepped outside, into Ela's back yard as they began to argue. Ela still lay in bed, feverish.

Scar knocked on the door several times.

Ela struggled up, then opened the door, leaning heavily on the door frame. "Scar?"

"Yeah. Hey Ela." Scar said.

Gasping for air, Ela staggered into the kitchen and sank into a chair.

Scar followed inside and locked the door.

After coughing a bit, Ela looked back up at Scar. "Did you need something?" she croaked out in a hoarse voice.
