"It just wasn't the time for Shade to tell any details...but if you want to know then you can ask him...if you want to come back,you don't have to." He said,voice still soft and he still felt hurt that she'd not believe him and that she'd run without even a real goodbye.

She nodded slowly. " Do...you want me to come back? "

"I'd like it." He said,eyes looking to her with faint hurt and soft pleading.

" Then...Ill come back. " she said softly.

"Only if you want.Only if it makes you happy.If you think you'll..." He paused and swallowed the lump in his throat. "Be happier somewhere else...with someone else,than do that and do what...m-makes you happier." He said,voice wavering and having to swallow down sobs. He didn't want to lose someone else.

" I...don't think that being with anyone else other than you could make me happy. I've been happier in the past couple of days that I've ever been, at least of what I could remember. "

He seemed a little shocked and gave a wavering smile. He opened his arms for her,thinking most likely she'd just have them both get going back to the house.

She slowly walked into his arms.

He gently hugged her,his heart pounding in his chest so hard it vibrated through his whole chest. He held back tears as he shut his eyes and wrapped his tail safely around her.

She couldn't really hug him back, since she was a small cat with small cat arms, one of which was most likely sprained, but she rubbed her head against his chest.
