Scar didn't want anyone to know how much pain he was in.

Uto came in to check on Ela and Jelen, kissing Jelen lightly on her cheek and putting her on the couch. He covered her with the blanket he brought.

Scar laid down to sleep

After double checking every lock and entry way in the house and locking them, Uto got himself a midnight snack and put in some ear plugs, listening to music without words.

Scar woke up.

Uto cooked breakfast as Ela and Jelen woke up. "You guys feeling ok?" He asked as they stumbled into the kitchen. Jelen yawned and nodded. "My hooves are a bit stiff, but I guess doing that much kicking makes sense."

Scar ate some raw meat not in the mood to cook.

Ela sat down to eat, trying to work out what happened and where Scar disappeared to.

Scar drank some water.

After eating breakfast, Ela cleared up what happened yesterday. She went back into bed, feeling weak. After checking her temperature, Jelen shook her head. "The shock from yesterday probably left her immune system weak, and the cold made her sick". Uto made her hot chicken broth, feeding her slowly. After she finished eating and went to bed, Jelen and Uto talked quietly on the couch. "You really think that the hospital believes she's 'the one'?"
