Pyrus groaned and rubbed his face. *i did. I just passed out from exhaustion. It happens. Im sorry, alright? I just thought light magic straight out of my own body would suffice, becuase... well, its from my own body. It should mean something.* he took the orb, filled it with light magic (but not as quickly), and threw it in the lake.

Aoi looked away from him. "You should think before you act...I thought I'd lose you. It's really irritating, y'know?"

Aoi walked away, still annoyed, and she found a tree that had bright cyan leaves, and she pressed the orb against it. The bright colors disappeared, and the tree became ordinary. She tossed it in the pond.

Lilli searched around for more light energy, when she noticed a tiny flower, which had glistening leaves. She closed her eyes, and the tiny flower grew huge, and she was able to collect enough light energy. The now giant, lively flower, stood there, and she rubbed it's stem in an almost affectionate way. Then she tossed the orb into the pond.

"Alright, now we just need Colleen to find something."

Pyrus rubbed the back of his neck. *im sorry. Really.*

Coleen was going flying.

She had her wings out, and one of her feet had become Pterodactyl talons, holding the orb. She threw it up in the air, and surprisingly, it began hovering, and started obsorbing the sparkles and shiny stuff in the sky. Some clouds broke apart or dissipated, and a bit of water in the air evaporated. The light energy went into the orb, and then the orb fell right into the lake.

Coleen flew down, Shifted to normal, and said, *didnt want the ground to loose its luster.*

Suddenly, the earth beneath started to shake a little. Then a shower of light exploded. When everyone opened their eyes, there was a humongous, gorgeous tree whose leaves were multi color orbs, covered in flowers and bearing strange fruits. After it appeared, a hole formed through it's base, shaped like a doorway. As the group walked inside, there were branches arranged in a staircase, as well as a crystal, a mini pond, and even some tiny houses. Aoi looked inside the small homes, and there were tiny light spirits. There was a stone plate that read countless odd symbols, and a book next to it. The book had many of symbols in it, and their letter translations. Lilli took her time reading the translations, and found that the stone plate read: "You must climb the branches, as flight, magical or physical, is disabled. Every now and then, there will be a stop, with another book and another stone plate or more. You must complete the instructions to advance further."

Aoi looked behind at the group. "You all ready?"
Lilli nods.

Pyrus and Coleen nodded. Coleen said, *lets go!*

The group continues carfeully up the thick branches, until they get to the first plate. Against the bark of the tree is another plate, with four symbols on it, with glass inside each. Lilli picks up the book, and translates it as: "The symbols on the plate mean, in order, Love, Courage, Passion, and Knowledge. The person with the most of any trait in your group must press their hand against the symbol. Once each has been pressed by the right person, more branches will emerge, and you may continue. If any one person gets it wrong, nobody will know who got it wrong. Only when each person is right will you be able to proceed. Good luck!~"

Aoi turns to Pyrus. "So, I trust you to try and decide who is who. Go on!"

Pyrus thought, and after a minute, said, *ok. This is what I think.

Aoi is Love, becuase she cares about everyone and everything (especially me). She tried to protect an island, and blipped Cole our of existence! Until he became a girl, anyway.

Im Courage, becuase Im brave enough to act without thinking (as iv constantly proven).

Coleen is Passion, becuase she always has that fire inside that lets her keep going, no matter what timeline.

And Lilli is Knowledge, becuase... well, shes really smart about everything.*

Pyrus walked up to the Courage symbol, and pressed his hand on it. Coleen gulped, went to her symbol, and pressed her hand against it.

Everyone goes up to the symbols.

...

Nothing happens...

"Darn...maybe not."

Lilli tilts her head. "Maybe I could be love? I don't know everything...I mostly just know to care for children...and in the heat of confusing moments, I'm not always the most knowledgeable."

(That was a hint. I'll give you another hint: Pyrus is courage, but the rest aren't right.)

Pyrus thought. *maybe. And then Aoi and Coleen switch?*

Coleen shrugged and switched with Aoi, putting her hand on the symbol.

The group presses their hands down.

A faint click noise is heard, but nothing much else.

"I'm pretty sure I'm not knowledge, Pyrus. And the click noise tells me...I think we got another right, but the other two are wrong? Just a guess." Lilli says with a sigh.

(Aoi and Pyrus are correct. Aoi is passion, because she was so passionate to save the majorities, that she often took serious risks, like losing cole the first time, and almost dying the second time.)
