Ibis did the normal thing to do when you are surprised by a strange dragon: she disappeared. Finally, my scales are working again. Therefore, when Ink arrived at the scene, he only saw the strange looking SandWing (or maybe SeaWing- he hadn't quite decided). "What have you done with Ibis?" Ink demanded.
Ibis shakily switched her scales back into more visable, meloncholy hues. "I'm right here."
"What happened? Did she try to kill you?"
"I'm not quite sure... You usually don't yell "Surprise!" at your murder victims."
Ink laughed.
"What did I say that was funny? The ShadeWings didn't yell surprise..." Her scales took on an even darker tone.
"I'm sure she meant well. You do look pretty sad. Maybe she was trying to cheer you up?"
"I AM pretty sad. You don't seem to be."
"We all deal with grief in different ways..." Ink murmered softly.
"What?"
"Nothing," Ink replied. It was something Dim had said about one of the Generals.

"Nah, I'm definitely here to kill her" Coastal jokes. "Rawr! I'm the big scary murder dragon! Watch me as I murder this Rainwing with my fabulous scales" Coastal said, flaunting her glowing scales, and let out a small plume of fire towards the sky. "Fear me!" She roared with a laugh.

Although Ink was pretty sure that she was joking, he instinctivly stepped in front of Ibis.

"Pfft, relax, if I planned on killing anyone, I would done it already" Coastal said, her tone completely serious before she quickly went back to laughing "kidding! Kidding! Or am I? Nah, don't worry" Coastal laughed, her scales no longer flashing because of her lost focus.

"At least try!" She said too Raven, "I think I'll go crazy if I'm in here any longer!"

Scorch looked through the treasury carefully, looking for something to help him find the Dragoness from earlier. There was just something so strange about her he couldn't get her off his mind. There! A little sapphire in the piles of treasure, it had to be one of the dreamvisitors, or maybe just a normal sapphire. He picked it up, examining it before just dropping it and grabbing a bracelet adorned with different colored opal. He hid it in his satchel, and set out to find the strange dragoness.

"Fine!" Raven closed her eyes, and the three dragonets reappeared outside the castle. "Wow. I didn't think that would work. Last time I teleported, my trainer got terribly dismembered."

Ink and Ibis looked at each other, as they had both witnessed the battle. At least they knew she was telling the truth, if she wanted to kill them she would have already.

Far away in the ShadeWing kingdom, Dim was pacing back and forth. Where could his brother be? All powers of perception had failed him, and he could not guess his brother's motives. It didn't help that Ink now had a killform that could change colors. How was he even supposed to recoginize him? Another problem was the General. He was increasing raids on the RainWings, and no one was stopping him. The RainWings had begun centralizing troops to protect the villagers- this could mean war! But the Queen had not been heard from in weeks, and his father enjoyed the raids with a ruthless pleasure. Dim was torn between participating in the raids so he could go back to the last place he had seen Ink and obstaining from them as he knew they were wrong. Instead he got ready for the almost inevitable war he felt would happen, stepping up his training tenfold and practicing using the abilities of his different killforms.

"It worked, ok now what should we do? I vote not going too the Skywing castle! If you think that dungeon is creepy the Skywing dungeon is ten times creepier!" She growled her voice low incase any dragon was near.

"You haven't seen the torture chamber." Raven said, shivering.
