July hugged her back on the edge of tears himself. "What-what happened?" He asked his voice shaking as he slowly sat up. He moved the fingers of his new arm, it was strange he still felt it yet it wasn't human. He turned it over and a light came on in the palm of it. "It's not your fault Pepper..."

"But if I had gotten up sooner we might have been able to get away from the worm." She said tears still streaming down her face " I'd i hadn't been so selfish and wanted to eat then you might have been able to keep your arm." She said then buried her face in her hands "I'm so sorry."

July gave her a weak smile as he desperately tried to turn the light off. "No, if we had listened to Ra-Ra-doon-hay-ga-doon, or what ever his name is then we would all have been safe." He sighed and gave up on the arm. "At least it wasn't my shooting arm." He said with a slight ray of Hope. "And now it won't hurt to get shot in it." He said letting her head up so they looked each other in the eyes. "It's alright, I'm not dead am I?"

"No... I just wish I could of done something more." She said wiping at her tears and smiling a little bit "do you think you can stand or do you need lay down some more?" She asked wanting to see how he felt.

July put his metal hand on the table and pushed himself off the table. Not use to his new arm he pushed up a bit too hard and ended up stumbling. "I'm fine...I'm just a bit unbalanced." He said standing up straight. "It's just strange now, that's all."

Pepper sniffed "ok... Camel is going crazy the girl that was in the worm with you tried to ride him... Just thought you should know." She said stepping towards him seeing how wobbly he was "do you... Need help?" She asked

Keezheekoni sighed. She followed into the room slowly. Her eyes flicked to his new arm. "I'm sorry..." she whispered, looking to the ground. She wished she could have gotten him here faster. "I'll calm Camel for you..." she said quietly. Wanting to give them some space. She left the room, getting an apple from her bag. She cut a bigger chunk and whistled to get Camel's attention when she came close. "July's okay..." she said softly. She offered the piece of apple to him. "You were a very good boy today you know." she whispered.

July leaned on her some as he lifted the arm again. "I just need some fresh air." He said stumbling to the door. "****** I wasted a whole day.... I'm sorry guys..."

Pepper let him lean on her and helped him towards the door "do t be sorry if rather do nothing the whole day then do something and have you die." She said peading him slowly out the door.

"But still I wish that I wasn't a burden. I mean, all I have done is get the ****** beat out of me and get in the way. I feel like I'm just getting in the way of everything." July said with a sigh.
