Saras snagged the grenade off of her, since she clearly didn't have a good enough understanding of the bast.radius, and pulled the thing off her.
(He rather likes his scales right where they are, thank you.)

(Pfffftttfttt she has plenty of understanding, she is just slightly desperate considering her left side was burned, and then flayed open. She doesn't particularly like Saras anyway though, considering his actions and attitude during their original encounters. Gonna give X a minute to respond before I move any further forward.)

Scias
Scias had gone ballistic at this point, smacking the spider away with a hard swing of the flaming sword into its skull.
The spider slammed back into the wall as he cleaved again and again at it, raging sparks of electric rolling off his back and tails.

Only after it had been reduced to a cindered, twitching heap of blood and limbs that struggled to move further did he calm down and turn his attention on Zeth and her own blood loss.

"..W-Where's Hexic?" He looked around frantically, unnerved and struggling to keep a grip on the sword he had just so thoroughly dished out on the experiment.

(Oooo, I recognize that thread. I can't wait to see what all of your species are like.)

Zeth

She hated the idea of being vulnerable and tended to. Was was still alive, so she'd still fight. years of exterminating and a home planet of warriors would get people in the 'fight never flight' mindset. She managed to grab hold of her belt sward thing, straightening it out and trying to use it as a cane of sorts.

"Hexic i-is probably with T-traqil."

She was struggling in general. That thing had really dug its claws in her. Even if the world was getting strangely fuzzier, she was going to do her best to carry on the mission.

(you should I shamelessly stole it from you ngl only really the Io, Daarizi, Vespa, and Aeldrians have been really developed so far. The Rhokai are getting there but since it's all been dependant on where my Discord group decides to adventure, most of them are just generic anthros, it's fine though because there's fun in trying to develop the rest of them more. :>
we've honestly been stuck on the Aeldrian home planet for like a year so uh this is where worldbuilding goes to die I guess

If Hexic was captured does that mean Traqil is too

He didn't stand for too much of that and picked her up, cradling her against his own body with his tails. He clicked his sword and her own over a spot in his armor before holding her closer to him.
"Saras. Rey. Find Umbra. I'll join you when I can."

Rey
"Good luck. They shouldn't be too far behind and I've already got a trace on Umbra. He shouldn't be too much further in."

(Traqil had earlier taken it upon himself to safeguard Corasi and Hexic. Traqil is still outside holding his own against any guards that dare try to follow the rest of the group. Zeth has no clue where Hexic is, so she assumed he was with Traqil, but she doesn't know. I am not really typing anything up for traqil rn, just because there is no one for him to interact with.)

Zeth

She had winced a bit as she felt herself being lifted, but soon began to relax. This was kind of...nice
Maybe she'd just close her eyes for a little bit. what harm could that do right?

She had already felt her grip on consciousness slipping prior to Scias helping her out, and now there was nothing stopping her from succumbing to the numbness offered by shutting her eyes. Zeth was out cold. Her breathing was faint, but still there. In other words,

Scias
Scias caught sight of Traqil down the hall, but no signs of Hexic. There clearly had been some fighting back here judging by the amount of bodies on the ground, but..
He was starting to tremble, trying hard to keep himself from electrocuting Zeth in his frustration and grief as his current fired up under his stress.
"..Where.. W-Where is he?"

Scias normally felt the urge to scream at him, but especially now. He winced his eyes shut and just shook his head, trying to come up with a solution.
He knew some first aid, but when it came to biological lifeforms, his knowledge was more or less limited. Maybe he would be able to find some material around here to stop her bleeding if he could just.. focus.
He forced himself to reopen his eyes as he scanned over the field before finally noticing a medpack on one of the guards.

He set Zeth at Traqil's feet and made a dash for it, prying it open with no further hesitation. Inside he found a decent number of rags, a few compressed field dressings, a small bottle of disinfectant, and some gauze.
He brought it all back over, thumbing through instructions of things in a bit of apparent panic.

Saras was ready to help, with a dose of pain medicine ready to help relax Zeth as needed.

(Finally! Someone gets the reference!)

Traqil

He looked down at his beloved little sister and gasped. What the hell had happened in there? He crouched down, gently stroking her forehead for a moment. As much as he wanted to help, it was against everything his people stood for and believed.

Even if he could not offer his assistance in terms of medical aid, he was able to protect Scias and Zeth from any oncoming Soldiers and guards. At that specific moment, there seemed to be no oncoming threats, so he stormed over to Scias and grabbed him by the shoulders, straightening him out.

"Listen here...Listen good and well...Panicking is only making this worse. You have a good chance of damaging her further if you let the stress and fear get to you..."

He paused for just a moment, looking back at Zeth. A small, worried smile crossed his face before he turned back to Scias.

"I can't give you my permission if she is dead."

With that, he rearmed himself and began to shoot at a few Scorpios coming up around the bend.

He caught sight of Saras, gesturing back to the lab.

"I've got it out here, and Scias can help Zeth. They need you inside to assist in taking down Umbra. Rey doesn't have a good chance o her own."
