" better than usual. You? "

"Decent." he says, looking back at the guards training.

She looks over at them too.

He watches as the young teen is thrown into the stands. He tenses as the boy cries out. "Be right back." He whispers as he jogs over to the boy. He helps him up, brushing him off. He crouches in front of the boy, seeming to ask questions which the boy answers with nods and shakes of his head.

She watches their interaction.

He waves another guard over, who seems to be a mirror image of the young boy, just a bit older. Clearly brothers, "Go ahead and take him home. We'll continue tomorrow." He says before heading back to Luc.

" is that one special to you? " She asks.

He nods, "He aspires to be like his big brother, so he came in about a month ago, asking to be a royal guard." He chuckles, remembering the talk they had.
