Sharky smiled, "Very well then our first stop be a port town 'bout ten miles er so from a place called mystic ruins. Not my favorite port, but we can pick up extra supplies there."

Kit and Terrin glance at each other briefly, "Alright Captain just tell us what to do."
They would discuss everything later when they knew the others weren't around to hear them.

Khusela, or as she'd have to remind herself. Kusu was okay with the stopping. Constant movement over a body of water was a good way to lose her trackers.

Sharky rapped out a few orders on heading. Once the ship was on the right course he threw back his head and broke out into an old sea shanty.

Terrin did as he was told doing his best at the job. He listened calmly to the songs that captain sang. Glancing over at Kit he saw that she was working hard to. She also looked upset but was trying to hide her tears.

She didn't really know what she was supposed to be doing but she caught onto what some of the others were doing. The sea shanty was intresting, it was odd to hear songs not in her native language,

Kit notices her but keeps her distance unsure of how to approach after what happend. She didn't want to pick a fight without a reason.

Terrin on the other hand kept working to keep his mind off of what ws going on. He wanted to protect Kit but at the same time find out where he had originally come from.

Tarka joined right in with the captain's tune by the second chorus as he worked, not too worried about sounding like a proper sailor and just having a good, loud time with it.

Mystic Ruins... Now, as a traveler, this was a location he was quite familiar with, even if he'd only been there once or twice himself. It was mostly known for the ancient remains of some long-gone civilization that dotted the region, so it attracted a lot of tourists, researchers, and history buffs. There were other points of interest in the area as well, of course; the warm weather, white beaches, rolling hillsides... And who could forget about the local blue hedgehog that frequently tears through the grasslands?

Tak chuckled lightly as the shanty came to a close. This would be fun.

Terrin looks at Tak, "What do you know about the place we happen to be going to?"
Kit chimes in, "I've heard there are ruins on the island. What kind of ruins are there?"

Tak looked over at them and smiled. "Well, the ancient kind, 'course! People go from all over to check 'em out. Can't really remember what sort of blokes built the ruins, but they're really impressive because a lot of 'em are still intact. They say it's almost like stepping back into time!" He chirpped.
