Pisces shot a look at Fovos and immediately started to move towards him, even if her movements were extremely slow. She couldn't let him get attacked by the demon!

She extended her hand, exerting enough force to move slightly faster through the barrier and grab onto his wrist before pulling with all her might. "Now's not the time for reminiscing! Get in first!"

Fovos was trying to concentrate on the nostalgic feeling he felt before Pisces broke through his concentration and making him lurch forward through the barrier as Pisces pulled him where he was originally standing. Right in front of him was the end of the barrier but he couldn't leave Pisces trapped in the barrier. So he thought of a plan on the spot and gave her his hand. Meaning he will do the same for her as she did for him.

Pisces understood what Fovos meant. She grabbed onto his hand and yanked with all her strength, bringing her forwards again. If the 'looped' this way they could both get through the barrier in faster time than if they went alone. "Come on!" She yelled, although the sound was somehow muffled. She extended her hand towards him, hoping he would get the idea of swinging each other through.
She did notice the barrier was unnaturally thick though, and it made her somewhat suspicious although she didn't voice her suspicions.

Fovos nodded in agreement after the soundless voice came from her mouth. Even though he couldn't hear her, he could still somewhat understand her because of her facial expression. So he pulled with all his might in his good arm to move Pisces in front before repeating what she had just done. As this goes on something inside of him was doing something. He didn't know what was happening and ignored it but there will be a time when he will realized.(Your turn XD)

Pisces snorts and grabs Fovos again, swinging back to pull him inwards again. The other side of he barrier was close... Very close. "Why us this so thiiiiiick?!" She howled her mute protest into the barrier, as if the barrier would hear her or something.
If was suffocatingly quiet in the barrier, she just noticed. Even the sounds of the demon were drowned out by the silence. Pisces frowned, the barrier wasn't supposed to be like this, something was wrong.

Fovos saw the look on her face as they continue to "perform". She noticed something he hadn't, something to put her on edge. The eerie silence didn't help either. Wait silence? No roar from the demon? Fovos turned his head to the direction he came from.

Nothing, there were nothing. Maybe it was the barrier's fault. But Fovos couldn't shake the feeling off that something was wrong. As he reach to pull Pisces again to continue moving forward, he made a worried expression.

She had to tell him. She had to tell him something was very, very wrong. Pisces could tell that he felt something was off, but she didn't know if he knew how bad this was. She didn't know exactly either, by she knew this was probably very, very bad.

In the eerie silence, they were one swing away from the nearest building. Why hadn't the barrier ended yet? With how much they'd travelled... The barrier was more than 10 meters thick.

She sighed inwardly - there wasn't anything else they could do, so she swung Fovos towards the building, hoping that if he touched the building it would break this mysterious spell like thing that currently surrounded them.

With the last swing, she swung so that Fovos would brush by the building. The instant he came into contact with the building, it shattered like an image in a cracked mirror. It broke the illusion. Spreading outwards from the first shattered building, all the other structures began to shatter, and like a veil that suddenly evaporated, the thickness was gone and the silence was replaced by the roar of the demon.

In front of them, with the illusion gone, lay the remains of broken houses, rubble, and fallen towers. "No. No no no no!" Pisces screeched, loosing her cool. What happened here?!

"It was an illusion! Someone set this up for people!" Fovos yelled in anger. He couldn't believe this, who would do something like this. The village was gone, or rather just the remains of it. Rubble, destroyed houses,

Fovos reached and took Pisces' hand. "Come on! We have to get away from here!" This place wasn't safe at all. The village looked like it was destroyed along time ago. Someone or something set the illusion on this village.

For some purpose. He knew something was odd when he was running through the woods being chased by the demon with Pisces with no other life being seen. A forest with no animal life, a destroyed village with an illusion, masking its appearance to look like a lively town, a demon with a body of a snake that has wings. An ominous feeling came over Fovos as Pisces loses her cool.

"It's okay, it's okay." Pisces muttered to herself over and over again, droning on and on while taking deep breaths. "It's okay, it's okay." She let Fovos take her hand and lead her away with no resistance at all, as if her mind was not in the real world right now. She was totally focused on calming herself down, as she knew what dangers would await her if she didn't.

After quite some time, she managed to settle down enough so that the danger would pass. "It... it was... this place, it was a home to me..." She managed sullenly, legs automatically working to move forwards with Fovos to get away from the demon. "Why... who?"

"Why else do you think? Someone set this here probably for you. Think girl, why else would they do this? A village girl with magic power equivalent to a 2nd ranked or even a 1st ranked magician. Did you really think you were going to get a peaceful life when you might be targeted for research..." Fovos went suddenly quiet. He knew what he said was brutal and harsh. But she had to wake up, this isn't the first time Fovos saw this happening. He seen this before, no far to much he had seen. The destruction of dozens of villages, the cry of terror, the sobbing of ones next to their fallen loved ones. Fovos feet didn't stop moving, he had to get to a secured location with Pisces.
