He curled his tail tighter around her. "Don't be afraid, they are gone now. You are safe." he smiled licking her ear to calm her.

Shadow nodded. She felt nice and warm here. She felt like she was going to fall asleep again.

Korak smiled, and then ate part of the other aurleon, giving the rest to Kara. He knew she would need strength, counting that she was pregnant. He picked up the old puffadore, and picked up a book he saw yesterday, How to perform surgery: Medical Help 101, and started to follow the instructions. He used his claw to make a cut on the Puffadore's chest, and opening it slowly, cringing at the squirt of blood. Next, he didn't follow the instructions and instead examined all the insides, matching them to ones in the book.

He nuzzled her softly with his muzzle before looking out the entrance tot he burrow. "Are you still opposed to being mates?" He asked again. It was rather sudden and he actually hadn't meant to say it.

Shadow looked at him. "I just need time to think about it." Shadow said. She started to fall asleep.

Orinight-
A bit closer! She needed time to think one it really? A uncolored asked you to be their mate without taking you to the hunters and you needed time to think about trusting them? it seemed reasonable thought seeing he had nearly turned her in after all and had thrown his own caution to the wind in doing so. Maybe this was for the better.

Theon passed out completely as the woman prepared him for the surgery. It had been a long day and his body knew it. He slept clear through to the next afternoon, all the while having the same dreams he had been having for years...
Sen easily knocked the sword from his hand in one move, sending Theon stumbling backwards. "Listen boy, listen! Can't those ears of yours even manage to hear a clumsy old man like me?" Theon didn't bother to argue, with a sigh he turned and felt around for his sword. Sen was far from a clumsy old man, he couldn't be much older than fifty and was as fit and able as he was if not more.
Theon managed to locate his sword by way of slicing open the side of his hand on its blade. He cursed aloud and sat up cradling his bleeding hand.
"That's enough boy, give it here." Sen's tone was harsh but fatherly, he only got this intense while training. All other times he played the part of the mysterious vagabond he had met in the capital over a year ago shortly after losing his vision.
The two men sat in silence for a time while Sen dressed Theon's wound, pointedly ignoring all of the scrapes and bruises that he had given him while training. Theon couldn't stop his mind from wandering to that familiar place once more, he had to ask even if he knew that Sen would not answer him.
"What was so important that those men would want to stop you from meeting with the king..."
Sen sighed, though not in any sort of irritated manner. "No, what you really want to know is what was so important that those men used you and your father as scapegoats."
Theon couldn't help it, he blurted it out with so much anger that he began to cry. "NO! What I don't understand is why they had to execute him for it!"
Sen sighed and placed an arm around Theon's shoulders. "I will explain all when the time is right, don't you worry..."
Theon's eyes fluttered open, he had been crying in his sleep again...

Shadow fell asleep. She was so peaceful now that worry was forgotten. Her face had a smile on it.

Ase~
She woke to find that the two morkko were still next to her and that the man was still on the operation table. What time was it? She hadn't a clue. Yawning she stood and made her way over to the kitchen were she turned on the stove to prepare the tea. What a night that had been. Her hands ached as she rubbed them together under the running water of the sink. She hadn't worked that hard in years! Not since she had been brought that man that survived having his head nearly severed, that had been a time.
