Caroline noticed him looking at her breasts and blushed.
"Uh, I sure found enough food... Yeah, l-let's go!" Grinning, she dumped all the food into the shopping cart. "You push it, big guy."

"What the f***?!" In a split second, she had taken out her knife. No, she didn't want to seem threatening, and besides, the gun would be able to shoot much quicker than her stabbing it.

Luis smiles. "Onward then." He says but does not move. "May I ask you something?" He says looking at her again to see how she would answer.

Joel did not know what to do. "Its alright, we were just looking for a place to spend the night..." He says holding his hands up.

Buddy lowers the gun a bit but keeps it up. "Names?!"

"Of course." Raising her eyebrows, she looked Luis directly in his eyes. "What is it?"

"Uhm, I-I'm Kyra!" Lowering her knife, she tried maintaining an unfearful face.

Luis sighs. "Would you...go out with me?" He asks a bit cautious of how he stated it. Women were unpredictable thus one had to be very careful how they ask for anything from one. She was his friend now but they could be sworn enemies by dawn.

Joel puts his hands down slowly. "And I'm Joel.." He says slowly so that the man could see he was not a threat.

Buddy stares at the two before moving to the door and going outside not happy that more people seemed to be showing up by the minute.

Douglass smiles. "Hello!" she says happily standing as she holds a hand out for the people to shake. "Dont worry I don't bite, much!"

Caroline blushed again, her cheeks a deepening red. "Sure... Of course, I mean, why not?" Her heart fluttered a little. Maybe they would be together for as long as possible, or maybe only for a week. Who knew?

"Who? What?" Kyra squinted and glanced around to the direction of a girl's voice. "Hi...?"

Luis smiles, having not thought she would have said yes. This meant the world to him, to have someone during the end of the world. "You really mean it? I mean I don't want to push you it to it if you don't want it."

Douglass smiles to them seeing that they didn't want to shake hands. "So what brings you to this neck of the woods?" She stops herself. "I mean to the city?" This was not her home and it would never be. Her heart was in the woods still with its quiet, fresh air and its homeliness. She sighs sad that she had once again tried to fool herself from missing home.

Katherine watches as someone darts to another building. Her eyes glance to Michael, wondering what he would do next. She looks back over at the shadows again, curious as to what they were doing.

Hawkeye

"No, really! I'm not sure how much longer this apocalypse will last... Maybe it would take months to cure the infection, and while that's going on, I guess I'm getting pretty lonely, ya know? Working on bloody people to save their lives... I love it, but it'd be nice to be next a normal person, a solid person." Grinning up at him, she leaned over and hugged him tightly.

Kyra looked over at the other girl and simply said, "I'd rather not say." Clenching her fist, her mind began to swarm with her past memories. The ones she had run away from. Digging her nails into the palms of her hand, she made a barely audible gasping sound and turned away. Those memories had been coming back more often.

Firelight

"Get the hell out here! I will detonate this block of I need to!" Michael yelled. He really could... And would if needed to. If he set fire to the explosives, they'd cause a chain reaction and the house would erupt in debris while the fire would still travel along. He had planted more bombs in the houses nearby, and then the heat of the fire would set them all off, so kaboom! Though if he didn't have to destroy the houses, he'd be perfectly content.

Luis smiles before hugging her back. "As long as your happy, the world can keep turning." He says as he pulls away from the hug. This has gone way better than planned, he had gotten the girl and only had to ask once! Who knows he may even get lucky tonight!

Douglass looks at the girl not sure what to say at this. "It's ok, you don't have to tell me I was just asking to break the ice..." She turns as Leon starts coughing again. "Leon?" She walks to him sitting next to him. "Shh it's ok, your going to be fine..."

Joel watches as the man coughs, coughing up some blood as he did so. It looked grim, he did not seem to be doing fine for someone whom could hold his own.

Smiling, Caroline looked at him and then remembered Leon. "Ah, we better get back. I think Leon may need some help."

"O-oh, it's okay. I know. Sorry." Kyra half mumbled the sentence. "So, what operation have you guys have in here right now?" She heard a cough and turned. She could make out the body of a man and some red. Blood. Internal bleeding?
