Ela gave a dry laugh, grimaced, and with a hoarse, dry whisper said "It's not your fault. No one knew Croacks hibernated at the bottom of lakes"


(Quick define: Croack: A mix of a shark and crocodile creature in early stages of the mutation development. The scientists tested it in early forms on hybrids to see effects it had on already unnatural creatures)

"Are you okay?" Scar asked. He smiled weakly. He appreciated that she had saved him. But he had gotten her hurt which he didn't like.

Her reply was more like a toads croak. "Well, aside from broken ribs and a bite by my throat I'm doing just amazing"

Scar got worried. Would she die? He stood up though his foot was majorly injured. He dragged her softly down to the village. He got help from the otters.

Ela staggered a bit on her way there, but they were admitted to the "hospital" without a second's hesitation and were treated.

Scar sat down beside her. He had been wrapped up. His leg was covered in medical items. He looked at her.

Her ribs had been bandaged as well as her neck, and she had many minor wounds that were covered in green salves.

Scar sighed and looked at the roof. He felt the pain but didn't know it's source. He wanted to give her a kiss but he also didn't want her to slap him for it.

She was asleep, her snore quiet.
