Waking up at the sound of splashing, Ela adjusted her swim suit and dived down, picking up shells at the bottom.

Scar turned around and saw her. He gasped the water entering his mouth and he swallowed. He tried to hide but was shoved into her by the otters who thought it was funny.

She yelped, then swam up, coughing up water. She glared at the otters for a second before diving back down to get the shells she dropped.

Suddenly, Ela yelled "Get out of the water!" and 3 of the otters were pulled under, red clouds appearing from where they disappeared. Large fins showed from the water.

Scar tried to swim to the bank but he was gripped by something. He tried to call out but his mouth filled with water

Ela dived for him, a hiss in her throat as her claws slashed at a large crocodilian-like fish.

Pulling him up she swam to shore, scratching and biting at more of the creatures.

Collapsing onto the shore, Ela put her arm over her ribs, which were bent at weird angles.
