"No, not really," Zero replied, flashing Shep a coy grin.

Shep shakes his head, "I should have known."

"You should have, you heroic types. I have so many enemies, did you honestly expect me to remember the names and faces of every person who had me in thier crosshairs?"

"No but I expected you to remember a small pocket of Resistance fighters including Mrs. Hoowlers, her husband, and a few others including myself. We figured out a few things and one of those was about the Phantom Ruby."

Zero twitched an ear. "...No. I don't remember a group like that at all. Although Mrs. Hoowlers did have quite the reputation, and still does."

Shep nods once, "I expect nothing less. Once I can walk I'll be out of here and I'll be nice and not tip G.U.N. off for a week." He looks at Zero, "You know this is not as bad as I thought. The stories I've heard about you said you were a monster but seeing you in person caring for her makes you seem I don't know like you have a heart."

"huh... i hope he calls back later and checks in" clik muttered. "Mat do you have any clue what they might've been getting?". He shook his head, "you know what's normally there, i heard a rumor that they found one of the newer warehouses but that's it"

"Newer warehouses," Luna asks, "didn't the company shut down?"

"I was and I do," Zero stated plainly. "I did what I did for my own reasons. Maybe I wouldn't have if the situation was different, but, it is what it is." He shrugged a shoulder, actually meeting Shep's gaze. "Did you know priorities change over time?"

"I'm learning that," Shep replies glumly, "I'm also learning that some love never is gotten over. I miss my old pal too but it's been years and I've moved on. I guess I can't blame Mrs. Hoowlers for not though after all he was her husband. So how did you meet Nox anyway? Also how did you find out about Night's skill?"
