Knuckles paused at the top of the stairs, gazing down at the others. "You know, all of us going up the stairs defeats the purpose of just a couple going to see if it's a trap." He growled.

"I'm staying down here" ganz remarked.Clik rolled her eyes and stood still,"Fine i'll stay down here with them" she remarked

"Want me to stay down here with you," Luna offers.

Ajal growls, "Don't blame me."

"you'r choice" clik remarked.part of her wanted to say Sure,let the boys go up,we'll see how things work out but she didn't

Luna stays there with Clik, "I can't believe this is happening."

Knuckles grunted, stalking over towards the room Tik had directed them to.

Sonic huffed, staying with the others. "They're no fun," He complained.

Ajal smirks, "Get over it."

"ajal please don't prod the bear" clik muttered glancing upstairs,her fingers crossed that knuckles did NOT do something stupid

The room upstairs was sparesly furnished,similar to downstairs except for the desk that was covered in papers and had multiple radios on it.Sitting behind it,was Cherokee.One of her arms was in a sling and underneath the wrapping appeared to be a ghastly shade of purple,and she hadn't look like she'd slept well in awhile.Her fur was matted in areas and it was clear she was trying her best to hide the lack of sleep.She didn't notice knuckles at first

Ajal frowns noticing how Cherokee looks. He knew that look all too well from his time in the guild with his mentor. Not even Cherokee deserved what she got from Void in his opinion for what she tried to do. If Tik was right she tried to get their families back and sometimes, Ajal reasoned, no nothing was worth that price.

Knuckles exchange a brief glance with Ajal, dark eyes looking a bit softer than usual. He quickly turned his attention back to Cherokee and cleared his throat.
