So you would be dying them after it gets pretty much done? If that's the case, would you still possibly have males with the pink for sale?

I'm sure I'll eventually have both if I get the project started. ^.^
I caught some flack a couple years ago when I started my first 6V project with the Emperors. One member of their ancestry had been dyed. In the end, it never really affected my sale of them. I believe the reason for this is because that dyed progenitor was too far back in the lineage to be obvious to the casual observer. If I dye some Smoothies, it will be for my own amusement, and I don't doubt there will still be those interested in acquiring a few.

Speaking of "purism", I've been very worried about the eventual changes with accent colors that will likely affect almost every themed offspring. If new traits incorporate these accent colors (and possibly previous traits), what should we do with the offspring that we already have? Maybe it's too early to think about it until we know more.

I'm still not sure I understand what effect accent colors are going to have... >.<

I figure we'll find out when they start work on the qitari accent colors. That's supposed to be soon. But seeing already so many offspring born with black accent colors, I figure that the accent colors will eventually affect something and I'm wondering if that black is going to make things weird.

I totally support the idea of dying the lotus wings to make them match. They look great like that and I want one! o:
Some of you may recall my previous Dreamberry Smoothie breeding project... With the introduction of the new Lotus Flowers wings, I have been debating whether to push for a 6V version of that same design. Originally, my idea was to completely eliminate all traces of garish pink from the design palette. The new wings, while far better than any of the other wing options to compliment my design, still have that trademark trace of pink (more prominent, and frankly clashy, on the females). What say the VV! community? Are there those who would want to buy a 6V Smoothie with this new trait (even if you have the 5V version)? Or do you think the design itself looks better the way it is (monochromatic)?
I'm interested in hearing constructive, thoughtful feedback (so naturally, I came to the VV!s). Thanks, guys! ^.^

If i had money, i would buy pets of both designs. I do like the Lotus Flower wings a tiny bit better, but not in any significant amount. Also, again if i had money, i would buy them dyed, as dying pets doesn't really make a big impression on me, or give me a sense of indignation like some players.
