With the basilisks weird aggression towards pages, that might not be a good idea.

He could probably look it up. Basilisks are pretty common demons, and easy to research since theyre so friendly.

Turns out its a pretty common question basilisk owners have. Basilisks have a natural enemy called a turabe, which happen to be a very tan pale, which is very similar to the color of a books pages.
