Except the people of Dreystan aren't really evil in my opinion, I put that more on Rostar wanting to conquer and build their kingdom further. Why not convert all these heathens while we're at it?

And Dreystan's just like "hey ruskar help?"
And Ruskar's just caught in the middle as Rostar's border neighbor and probably reluctant to offer anyone aid but Rostar because they don't want to deal with them. Everyone else is just like "okay Rostar is nuts we need to defend ourselves"

Not sure how long Cypress and Soterra would since it's a matter of time until they figure it out really.

Hmm Helihe is unfortunately not only in a good spot with natural resources, but also right in the middle of Edith so, I'd imagine if Rostar wanted to start conquering anywhere, it would be Helihe. Then they can work their way into the highlands.

Etrana is taking advantage of Helihe's scattered defenses by attacking the coastal cities, and the Meadowlands are probably in cahoots with both Etrana and Ruskar. Belos seems like a very sneakily greedy person.
