" Thanks Ethan. " Ivory said handing the pilot the water bottle, he snatched it out of her hand and drank furiously, until it was all gone.

" Thank you lad. " The pilot said, his voice a bit less raspy.

" Can you stand up? Do you need help? " Ivory asked. She was very happy one was alive, but she also had to be careful.

" No, too many pieces of glass. " He said, looking down at a few on his legs. Ivory quickly grabbed the medical tweezers and a bag for the glass, she also got stitches and alcohol.

" This might sting, just hold still. " Ivory said, pouring alcohol on a cloth, and dabbing it on all the glass wounds. He winced once or twice, but otherwise showed no pain.

" I'm going to start pulling them out and stitching them up. " She normally told people what she was going to do, so they would be less scared. She started pulling them out and stitching them up one by one, and eventually pulled out 13 shards of glass. She grabbed some disinfectant and poured some on her hands to clean the blood. To her surprise, he stood up on his own. He looked over at his former co-pilot. Sadness and disgust were written all over his face, but he quickly set it aside.

" What's all of your names? You're brave kids ya know that? " He asked. Ivory almost said her name, then remembered her name was Warren for now.

" Warren Hames, Sir. " She said.

"Do you need anything?" Ethan asked while Ivory-Warren was removing the glass shards from the body of the body of the pilot. "You should have yelled and called for help". He said to the man.

He waited until Ivory had finished, in case she needed help.

"My name is Ethan." he answered to the pilot.

" A bit hard to talk or yell when you're dehydrated and in pain. " He smiled bitterly. " Did anyone else survive? Or just you three? " He hoped more had survived. He felt very guilty about all of this. He should have made sure this flight was safe, and would get to their destination. He had already let his co-pilot down. He remembered they were happily chatting one second, and the next the engines failed and it all went down.

Ivory saw his pained expression. " I'm to believe everyone survived, except-" Ivory silently kicked herself, that wasn't what he needed to be reminded of. " Is your radio still functioning? " Ivory asked. That would be their one way ticket out of this place.

He pulled the radio off his chest, the little red light flickering. He immediately pressed a button and started talking into it. " This is flight 5501 does anyone copy? " A short amount of silence, and he tried again. " This is flight 5501 does anyone copy? " Th radio just showed static. " It must be jammed. I'm going to go find the emergency pack. They should have a functional one in there. " He said briskly walked off, despite his injuries.

"I think most people survived, even if some of them are in bad condition. There is only... There is only one girl who has fallen off the plane when it crashed." Ethan used a bitter and sad tone, and took a sorry face to make his testimony believable. Fortunately, he was a good liar.

"Is the radio not working? Do we have another way to communicate?" Ethan asked. "Did you have time to make an emergency call before... Before the crash?"

The man called out from the back of the plane, " Steven was barely able to make one, but we weren't sure if it got through or if anyone even heard. "

Ivory assumed the dead pilot was Steven. She hoped the message had been heard. Or else things would be harder, and they would have to find civilization. Ethan was a pretty smooth liar. " We better hope that they did. Or else we'll have to find a town by ourselves, do you know what area we crashed around? "

" Middle region. About 65 miles north of Anchorage. " He half guessed. He knew they were somewhere north of Anchorage, not the exact coordinates though.

Jirachi:"So we're not too far from a city...that's good."

Mark heard some heeling in the plane..he wanted to help,but couldnt

"Yes, 65 miles is not far."
They could join the city in a few days by foot, if they had too... Tjough he was not sure everyone could walk. His eyes fell on Mark's legg.
"There should be smaller town nearer. Maybe we are only a few hours of walk from one. If that's the case, someone may have witnessed the crash and we might get help even lf nobody heard the emergency call. "

He thought about Ivory, and was wondering what she would want to do. Did she remember about the list of passengers, and that she could be identified if she was found here in the plane? He knew he could not ask these questions in front of the pilot.

The pilot was rummaging through some stuff in the back.

Ivory decided to pull Ethan aside.
" Ethan. We need a plan. He knew all the peoples names on the flight. I shouldve thought about it, but there won't be a 'Warren Hames' on the list, and there are still 12 people total. So they'll find out we're lying. Should I pack some things and leave? If he finds out I'm not who I say I am, let's just say we're gonna be in a big, tangled mess. "
She said. She was worried though.
" But if it does come down to me going back to my parents, I will go. If any other peoples lives are at risk because I'm trying to change mine, I won't hesitate to stop in my tracks. "

"We could leave and tell him we will try to reach the nearest road or town to get help since we are not sure people have heard the emergency call." Ethan suggested.
"He can't accompany us event if he want to in his current state. As we are not too far from to Anchorage, we can convince him that it is not too dangerous for us. As soon as we reach a town, we ask people to take us too Anchorage. Anchorage is big enough for you too disappear. But we need to leave as soon as possible, and lie about the exact direction we will be taking in case someone has heard the call and help is coming, so we they won't find us."

The "Warren" problem would still not be entirely resolved. No pilot knew the names of his passengers or their number by heart, and this one didn't realize there was no Warren Hames on the list of passengers. Maybe he would not remember the name the girl had given her, since he was in a such a bad state, and would never realize that this name was not on the list. He would hear the name of Ivory, the girl who died, but he may never make the link between the two.

"If someone ever ask me about Warren Hames, I'll tell hem that the boy has decided to take another direction while we were walking in the forest because he wanted to try to join some relatives who lived near Anchorage. I'll say that's at least what the boy has told me."

He was still thinking. If the others never used the name Warren again, there was more chance that the pilot would forget it.

"We'll ask everyone who was in the plane to avoid mentioning the names of Ivory or Warren. If someone ask them about Ivory, they should say that they think she has fallen from the plane, and if someone ask about Warren, that he was the first to wake up after the incident. Like that, even if someone makes the link, they could not accuse the others of being your accomplice. They'll be more willing to cooperate."

The man walked back to the front of the plane.
" The survival kit is missing, and must've fallen out when we went down. " He a hand to his forehead and looked up, sighing.

Ivory replied, " If we are near Anchorage, Ethan and I were planning on heading to go find a road or a small town. We could gather some supplies and send help whenever we reach one. It would only take 2 or 3 days at the most. "

She looked at Ethan. It might be a bit dangerous, but they couldnt just rely on luck. And like Ethan said, the pilot was in no condition to be walking that far of a trip.

" You wouldn't have to worry about us, and you can't go with us anyways, your injuries are still fresh and healing, it would be a good plan to walk that far of a distance, besides, the other people need someone here."
Ivory said gesturing towards everyone either in or out of the plane.
