"Redfoots missing, I heard a wolf's battle cry. I--I think he's being attacked!" With that Hailstorm scented the air and ran, ran faster then he had in all his life. Soon he barreled into the small clearing where Redfoot was battling with a fierce, desperate looking wolf.

Redfoot stumbled backwards. His legs were cut and his right eye closed with a claw mark running across it. He knew he would have scars.

Hailstorm spat furiously and summoned a wave of water to knock the wolf over. He then sprang onto the pitiful creature and clouted it with his wings.

Redfoot looked at Hailstorm and he fainted but he didn't know why. He felt dizzy.

Frostpaw didn't know what to do, she knew that she would only get in the way but she couldn't just stand there.

Hailstorm beat the wolf over and over until it's eyes rolled into it's head and it died from the wounds Redfoot had given it, and the brain damage Hailstorm served it. He quietly darted to where Redfoot lay and pressed his gray muzzle against the ginger fur of his friend.

Redfoot wasn't dead but his eyes were glazed and he couldn't move.

Hailstorm gently summoned a small wave of water, which drained his remaining energy, and floated Redfoot on it all the way to the camp entrance where Frostpaw was.

Redfoot coughed and closed his eyes. He let out a sigh.

Frostpaw rushed over too Redfoot "are you ok!?" She meowed.
