She hands Pepper another rabbit than answers Keezheekoni's question,"A cook is someone who makes food."

Pepper chomped into the rabbit gratefully "it's so good!" She said happily chewing away.

She took a rabbit and bit into it,"I can always do better with spices," she mumbled.

July politely refused. "I don't think I can eat just yet after that." He said slowly sitting down. He winced as he bent over. "Damn it, I think of of those things teeth got me on the way down." He said rolling up the sleeve of his shirt some to revile the long gash on it. It stretched from his fore arm to the bridge of his shoulder. "Well that's not good."

Maggie looked at him and hurriedly ate her eggs. "******...we need to get him to the next town and fast. That poison isn't going to give him much longer not with a cut like that..."

Pepper heard the word poison and turned around. "******!" She said when she saw the huge gash on July's arm. She took a final bit of her rabbit and got up. She went to Alaska who was sniffing a piece of worm curiously "don't eat that it could be poisonous." She said pushing her away from it. She pulled Alaska over to July "we just came from a town it's pretty close, I think we should go back." She said walking back to grab Camel's reigns and bring him over for July.

"Poison?" July said starting to get a bit worried. "That thing has poison?" He felt a bit faint though it was hard to tell if it was from the wound or his fright. He put a hand to his head in an attempt to steady himself.

Maggie looked at the wound. "Yep in the teeth and no where else." She looked over at Mia. "If you want to you can cook some of that worm meat, it's not that bad once you get past the smell." She looked at Pepper. "No the next town has the doctor that knows what to do, we need to get him there and fast."

Keezheekoni hurried over. She took the arm that hadn't been wounded and slung it over her shoulder to help him up. "Come on. Don't get lazy now." she said with a slight grin towards him. "Camel can you get lower to the ground?" she asked curiously. She knew they might not be able to get him up that high.

Pepper helped Keezheekoni hold up July. "If Camel can't Alaska can I'd rather walk then let July die." She said motioning for Alaska to get ready if needed.

Camel lowers himself though he really didn't know why. July was starting to lose it and the wound was already beginning to turn a bright red. "That doesn't-look too-good." July said starting to get a bit loopy. "I don't feel too hot."

"******, we may not get to the next town before he dies." Maggie said thinking. "He may have to lose the arm here..." She pulled out her knife and moved toward July.

Pepper saw the stranger pull the knife and lunged at her "What the heck are you doing!" She yelled grabbing her arm and forcing her to the ground. "I won't let you kill him!" She yelled pressing her knee in between the girls shoulder blades
