Suddenly, Michael saw shadows behind the wall of the house. Then, there was an audible click and a gunshot. Jumping, his eyes widened and quickly took out his dagger.
"Who's there?" It wasn't zombies, they would be making repulsive sounds. Hopefully, whomever was there would not set off the explosives.

Luis packs as many blackets as he dares in the cart putting pillow on top yet leaving some for anyone whom needs them. He then moved to get duct tape making sure to get the best the story had, you never know when you would need some. He sighs walking then to the craft section getting yarn in various colors knitting needles, crochet hooks, notebooks and anything else that could entertain them if they were to get snowed in. Seeing that the store seemed to still have power he decided to head to the electronic products and look for a portible DVDs player. Finding one the had a good charge on it he stuffs it in the basket along with some movies from the shelves. Thinking that was good enough he heads back to find Caroline.

Joel was suddenly aware of someone watching. "Shh I think someone is in here.." He whispers knowing that the girl was likely to kee talking if he did not set an example. "Just grab what you need and follow me, I can't stand to see you have to fight for yourself.

"I heard that." Caroline called out. "Uhm, I'm just a bystander... Minding my own buisness." Caroline quickly moved away from the canned goods and headed to the crafts section, cans and reservable food filling her arm. She should've gotten a cart. Hearing the squeal of a cart wheel, she assumed it was Luis and headed that direction.

Kyra quieted, but wasn't sure if she should follow. From the sound of his voice, he sounded more or less older than 40. But it wouldn't hurt, and she always had her weapons, except he was much older and probably stronger.

Luis kicks the cart wheel as it jams again. "Stupid cart.." He curses as he makes his way to the clothes section to grab extra clothes for everyone. One could not be to careful when it came to the cold. He threw in clothes of all sizes not knowing what everyone wore. He then threw in socks, and some house shoes. He sighs making his way to the from thinking he was done when he say the jewelry section. He could get her a ring, that could make her happy. He leaves the cart walking over a picking out one of the best rings he could find. He smiles thinking of the time he and her were going to have, who knows he could even get lucky tonight.

Joe throws a bit more food in and makes his way to the door waiting for the girl to follow.

Yes, Caroline had heard his voice and the young girl and the older man were heading out. Well... It wasn't her business. Whatever happened, well, it would just happen, though she assumed the younger girl was quite the fighter. She could tell from the way she had stood and the readiness in her face, but Caroline had also seem a trace of uncertainty, which was natural, but it was the kind she had seen in patients in the mental ward...

Kyra sighed and followed the older man. As she did, her hand tightened on her knife handle. Just in case. She couldn't let the same thing happen to her again.

Luis sticks the ring in his pocket, heading to the front. He wondered were Caroline had gone, if she needed help. Help laughs at this though, she needs help alright just not in that way. He smiles as he looks around waiting, seeing nothing they really needed. He wanted to get her home soon so that he could have her in bed by sundown, that was it. He sighs thinking of how she could reject him.

Joel walks outside looking up. "We need to find a place to stay...." He looks down the road a ways seeing a small two story home that looked empty. "There! That's were we should stay."

Katherine looked in the direction of the gunshot, pulling out a pistol. She knew who carried those types of guns. She froze a second before looking at Michael, did they want her or him? She watches, waiting for someone to come out of the shadows. She lightly touched Michael's shoulder "a knife to a gun fight?" she questioned, as she was ready to grab throwing knives at any moment.

As the two people exited the shop, Caroline turned to the sound of Luis's footsteps. Seeing his figure, she quickly walked over.
"Ah, there you are. Did you see those two people? They just left... I guess we're done here, huh?"Blinking at the cart, she added, "Wow, we certainly have enough! Let's go back."

Kyra stares at the man intensely, giving him the message of warning, although she guessed he could easily take her down. But if she had to run, boy, she could run fast as Hell. Looking up at the house, she nodded.
"Alright, we could stay here."

"Well, depends if they want something... But you may be correct." Michael did have normal bullets, so he took out his pistols and reloaded it with some plain bullets. He cocked it and it was ready to fire. Re-sheathing his dagger, his eyes gazed upon the back of his house. The gunshot had been aimed at a telephone pole. A shadow darted to the building next to his.

Luis smiles. Glade to see her again he laughs. "Did you find enough? I sure found what is was looking for." His eyes land on her breast. "I hope to do this more offen."

Joel nods walking to the house slowly. Everything was quite save for the wind. He walks up to the house carefully opening the door to find people inside.

Buddy had his gum on his shoulder pointing it at the intruders. "Who are you and what do you want?!"
