Akila doesn't so much as flinch. A similar shield appears in front of her, splintering the spear into a thousand glittering pieces.
(Akila has telepathy as exhibited by the way she speaks, but nothing like Saja or Dadoua. The real danger is the tech implanted inside her. Using technologies from the planets she raided, she has control over most of spacetime. Vyrhys's watch has some similar abilities, but Akila's is far stronger.)
