malory gave sonic a death glare, "i don't care, i haven't seen my daughter for 5 years!" she said as tears rose up in her eyes, i rubbed malory's back, "its ok mom, i'm not going anywhere, promise." i said smiling gently, i gave sonic and knux a warning look, pyro walked right up to the master emerald and stood half a foot away from it, hedge saw what pyro was doing and walked up to pyro and looked at the master emerald the two boys sat down and just looked at the emerald.

Knuckles looked at the boys. "No. I know what you're thinking. Don't do it. Don't you do it," he growled in a way that only he could.
Sonic frowned, rose to his feet and took Malory and Kit off to the side.
"I understand you missed your daughter, but this isn't your territory, ma'am,"
He said to Malory, green eyes locked with hers.
"You're lucky Knux even agreed to letting you come here, let alone get this close to the Emerald, and especially because he has no reason to trust you. Being a mother, I'm sure you know what it's like to almost loose something you care about. Knuckles may not know any biological family, but he knows the Master Emerald can't betray him. He's only doing what he's always done,"
He added, lowering his voice. His tone was firm, but sympathetic and gentle.
