"..." She literally can't think of any. Being holed up for days and days on end, and constantly being harassed, doesn't leave room for many happy childhood memories.

Lise didn't have...any she could recall either. Not that she would give them up, but it was still a bit sad.

"Don't take this so lightly. Your memories are a part of you. Losing one of your memories is like losing a piece of your soul," Puck said.

And its not like she'll miss it, especially if she can't remember.

"..Sure. If you can find one." Isiea shrugs.

Exactly.

The hag bared her teeth in a smile. "Yesssssssss."

She rose up over the table, framing Isiea's face with both her claws. Her nails gently scratched her cheeks.

"This might feel a bit...unpleasant," the oracle hissed, and she sank her claws into her mind, ripping it open like a paper sack. Isiea could feel her shuffling through her head, sorting through memories like photographs, examining them before tossing them aside. Discarded images fluttered around me: memories, emotions, and old wounds rose up again, fresh and painful. Finally, the oracle paused, reaching toward a bright spot of happiness. "Yesssssss," the oracle hissed, sinking her claws into the memory. "I will take this one. Now it is mine."

There was a ripping sensation, and a bolt of pain through Isiea's head.

Isiea is legitimately surprised that she found one.

Lise awkwardly looks away.

The oracle watched Isiea over the tablecloth, a pleased smile on her face. Puck was murmuring something that they couldn't make out, and Ash regarded her with a look of pity.

"It is done," the oracle murmured. She lay her hands, palms up, on the table between them. "And now I will uphold my end of the bargain. Place your hands in mine, child, and ask."

She does as the oracle says. "How do we find and save Ethan?"
