You walk up the stairs and see the vulnyx curled up in the dark on what looks like a smaller tomato, still abnormally large, but smaller than the hut. What od you do?

You talk to them, but they all appear incapable of human language. A vampire looking very much like Dracula asks you to drop the pendant. What do you do?
1) Drop the pendant
2) Ask him why
3) He is acting suspicious, hold onto the pendant
