(Let the jealousy rise!)

As the girl left suddenly she felt all alone, like she didn't belong here. Without another word she returned to the cabin keeping her head down as she did. Once back in the room she stood before the door, face red.
"Toril?" The man asked standing an approaching her. "What's wrong?"
"Do-do you really think we should try for a baby? I mean we don't have to if you don't want to...since you seemed so against it in the first place..."
"Toril..." the man started with a warm smile as his cheek grew rosy. "I wasn't against it...it just caught me off guard is all. If you want to try we can, I think we have waited long enough. Though to be honest I am a tad bit nervous and scared. If you want to we can, just know that this will change our lives forever. And you will have to stop risking your life for me, I can handle my own. It's time I learn to protect you." He smiled pulling her in for a hug. "And you look really good as a pirate." With that she smiled back rising to kiss him on his lips.
"Do you...want to now?"

"Somethin' got you upset?" Patrick asked leaning over the railing of the ship. "You look really mad."

Samie looked at Patrick,"Toril keeps asking me if she thinks she would be a good mother and if she should have a baby, and honestly, it's really annoying. I tried to give her advice, but she seemed to get mad at me once I did. She's probably down there f****** Onmund right now." The siren felt awkward with her legs exposed for the world to see her scales, but she could get used to it. If any of the crew members said anything about it all she had to do was tell Pinid and they would be executed.

"I don't even think they have talked about it before I showed up, I guess I'm just that attractive," Samie joked, watching the mermaids jump out of the water closely.

"And why does this make you mad?" Patrick asked cocking an eyebrow at her. "Their life should be their own, you shouldn't care what they do, unless..." he looked at her a moment a cocky smile spreading over his lips. "you're hot on Onmund aren't you!?" He could help but laugh at the mere idea. What did she see in the man? If anything he looked like a push over, and not a very attractive one at that.

"No, we should wait for now, at least until we know who we are dealing with." Onmund said still holding her close to him. "I would rather not be caught with my pants down if you catch my meaning."
"I understand completely..." Toril answered. She hadn't thought about that...they didn't know any of these people. What if they tried something? They needed to be more careful. "We can try when we get on land again..."
"Or when we figure out that they aren't going to use our livers as shark bair." The man said pulling away for a moment and taking the clothes from her.
"That to." Toril smiled turning as he changed. She never looked, it always seemed to make him uncomfortable when she watched him change, so out of respect even now she didn't turn to look. Sure they were married yet if he didn't like it then she wouldn't do it.

Samie glared at Patrick,"Really? I don't even know what I see in him. I guess I have a thing for powerful men, and that, my friend, is something you are not. Learn some magic and you might have an attractive lady falling for you." The siren lightly shoved him away playfully, just as her father came out of his cabin.

"All hands on deck, mermaids are 'ere, and you know what that means! Kill 'em all!" he repeated this a few more times until everyone was out from the cabins, arming a station.

"Aye aye Cap'ain!" The boy said before looking to the girl again. "That marshmallow being powerful? Please. If you want to have a really fun time with someone 'powerful' then you should hit me up for it. I can make it a night to remember." He winked at her before strutting across the deck to help out. From below deck the couple came up.
"What's going on?" Toril asked looking at the deck which seemed to be in utter chaos. "Are we being attacked?!"

Samie felt her face grow red, then turned to Toril,"Mermaids. They'll attack the ship and kill half out men if they can get close enough. We just need to burn them all." Samie once again looked down at her legs, feeling awkward about her legs again. They had never seen her legs and she hoped they wouldn't look now. "Ask Captain Otto what you can do." The siren tried to keep it short while talking to Toril and walked towards a ballista to man. She shot down the mermaids, but saw more surface as she shot them down.

A man at a different station was shooting the mermaids with fire, which sent them fleeing into the ocean to never come back. Captain Otto was working on steering the ship away from the mermaids, which seemed to be working well with all the fire.

"Onmund remember that time when we went fishing?" Toril asked and the man's face lit up some. He knew exactly what she meant. With a soft glow in his hands he trotted over to the edge of the boat. A single burst of lightning came from not only his hand but on the opposite side it did the same from Toril's the shock sparked off the top of the water bouncing about as it conducted. Once it died away fish bodies as well as mermaid's floated to the top of the water, along with some other poor creatures caught in the cross fire.

Samie looked for Patrick and finally located him,"That what I mean by powerful, not your skills in bed!" She continued shooting at the remaining mermaids that hadn't died in the explosion and who hadn't been scared off yet. Once the last were gone the crew continued what they were doing and acted like nothing had happened.

Captain Otto went back to steering the ship and Pinid ordered a few select people to check out the bottom of the ship for holes.

"But that's what really matters." Patrick smiled, wiping his hands on his pants. "Come on Sam he's married, there's no way he would fall for you not when he's got a wife like that. She's definitely a looker, I've caught Mar staring at her a** three times already and she's only been above deck twice! Be seriously why not give me a try? I ain't got magic like he does but I can wrestle a shark and win."

Samie smirked, when she was young she had a crush on Patrick for as long as she could remember. "Just give it a few more days then I'll see. And I'll have you know I'm better in bed than you are, I'm consort trained." She stuck her tongue out at him,"And Old Mar would watch my father's butt if he could without being executed."
