Lavastorm


You see a large shadow pass overhead, and your first reaction is to freeze. Than you realize it was only a falcon, that comes to rest on a nearby tree. It is on a low branch, and begins preening itself. It notices you, but does not react.

Observation check lv 1 success!

It looks like it has something on it's leg. It appears to be a leather leash of some sort.

I slowly approached the bird with a very small amount of meat in my hands and after getting as close as I can without it flying away I Whistle to it holding out my arm as a perch with the food in the other hand held out

It turns and looks at you as you approach. Seeing the meat it happily flies over to you and lands on your arm, taking the food and eating it. It's talons squeeze your arm as it keeps balance, although it could be worse.

I wince at the pain but soon get over it and begin stroking its body I take the leash and look around trying to find the owner

You don't see anyone else around here. The falcon doesn't seem to mind you being in control. It sits on your arm and waits patiently, watching the world around it.

Seeing how calm the Falcon is being around people I decide to let go of the leash and let him have control hoping it doesn't leave me I start to walk East again

You keep walking East. The falcon decides to stay perched on your arm, however after a while it flys overhead, every now and then coming back to you, as though checking to make sure you don't need it.

I continued to walk east angling a little towards the north
