You discover you have a couple of tomato and cheese sandwiches in your bag. You started to regret that you didn't collect any berries or nuts earlier when you entered the forest.

The beasts pause, as if unsure what to do. One of them snaps up the sandwich (and in the process, nearly your arm) and starts gagging. The others growl threateningly.
