"I would be fine going anywhere," Ibis replied. "I don't know much about the other kingdoms, since it is not taught by the RainWings. What about you, Monsoon?"
"I would be fine anywhere also, except the ShadeWing kingdom."
"Me too," agreed Ibis. "No offense to you," she gestured to Darkness, though she didn't know her name. "But our parents were just killed by ShadeWings. I think our entire village."
Ink realized that he almost made a mistake, although luckily it was perfectly explainable.
Although she was trying to be polite to the prophecy ShadeWing, as they would need to work together, inside she was shaking as she had just seen her kill the dragons that had attacked them. It was a scene all too familiar. How was this ShadeWing any different than the murderers that attacked her villlage?

"Oh my, that sounds terrible. I offer you my condolences. Does the Mudwing Kingdom sound good to you two?" Rhythm addressed to Darkness and the Icewing.
The Rainwings' story reminded her of how her own parents died. Even after all of this time, it still caused her some pain. She could never forget...

"No, the MudWing kingdom sounds great. I've visited there before; there's a dried-up river near here that they don't patrol much, but it's actually pretty all right to live at," Darkness agrees. "And no offense taken. Some of my tribe aren't much for keeping themselves secretive, or peaceful. We are a little powerful, and they take it to their heads." She looked over at Monsoon, keeping track of the strange scent. She slowly drifted over and asked, "Do you mind if I talk to you? Alone?"
Blizzard shook out his spikes and nodded. "Darkness has been pretty trustworthy. I say we go check out that spot." He didn't like how close she was getting to the RainWings so quickly, but hey, she was her own dragoness. He would never decide for her, not even for a thousand loyal animus dragons.

"Of course," Ink said nervously.
Ibis narrowed her eyes. What did she need with her brother? She was the prophecy dragon. Maybe the ShadeWing would ask her brother to leave because he wasn't a part of it. She prepared her argument.
Ink stood poised to run at any second, while also trying to create a believable lie. He couldn't tell her the truth- she wouldn't understand! He didn't know what exactly he was trying to hide. His abandonment of his kingdom, his love for Ibis, the fact he was a ShadeWing at all- how much could he conceal without her finding out?

"I agree, Mudwing kingdom sounds safe for now" Coastal agreed. It didn't take a mind reader to see Blizzard was wary of the Rainwings. "Hey, Blizzard, are you alright?" Coastal asked, quickly dipping her head under the water. "Something seems wrong with you" Coastal added in the least offensive way possible.

"What? No, I'm...I'm fine," Blizzard said, shaking his head again. "Just a bit nervous about the RainWings."
"You smell familiar," Darkness said bluntly. "And your speech patterns aren't quite the same as Ibis's. They sound a lot like a higher-up ShadeWing's. And if you are, you know you can't just stay in this form forever." She watched him carefully, looking for anything that would tip her off.

"I get where you're coming from there, they just showed up and, well, something just seems off I guess, they could just shoot us with their venom and melt us alive if they wanted to! Well, not me, I just just swim under the water to be safe" Coastal said, planning what to do if rainwings attacked.

"I don't really think that we have to worry much about those two anyway, they aren't even showing any signs," Rhythm said as she walked over to where Coastal and Blizzard were talking about their feelings.
"This is my first time meeting an Icewing, so sorry if I babble... I have a few questions about Icewings if you would care to answer them.
Is the Flashing a serious epidemic in your Kingdom, or is it not very common?
How often do you have dragons that contract the disease and what methods do you take to prevent and or treat the Flashing?
How much does your tribe know of the Flashing?
Why do Icewings constantly produce cold around them?
Has there been any peculiar or mysterious events going on in the Ice Kingdom?
What is the commonly favored food among Icewings?
Are there any flowers in the Ice Kingdom?
Is it true that in the past, there were animus dragons in the royal family?
How is medicine in the Ice Kingdom and do Icewings have a strong immune system?
Oh, and how are the libraries in the Ice Kingdom?" after her last question, she paused partly to gain some of her breath back and to allow the Icewing to speak.

"Pfft, that's a lot of questions, you might wanna calm down there Rhythm" Coastal said jokingly. "Why haven't you asked me ten-thousand questions, there are lots of icewings, but only 1, well technically 3, that I know of, Sea and Sandwing hybrids" Coastal told her.

She suppressed a laugh and said, "Well the reasons why I didn't ask you was because your mother was sick, the fact that I've already been everywhere in the Sand Kingdom, so my curiosity is quenched in that area, and as for the Seawings, I could always return to their library after the chaos is settled. You also said before that you grew up in the desert, so I don't expect you to know any of the inner workings of the Sea Kingdom. Besides, it was only eleven questions."
At the end, Rhythm smiled and turned her head to Blizzard, politely waiting for the answers to her questions.
