There was a faint buzzing sound, then a Venipede poked it's head out of the den, followed by two others, one of which was orange rather than purple. Scolipede lay on the ground and set down a large variety of berries for them to eat, all while warily keeping an eye on Hunter.

Hunter slowly walked forward, then kneeled slowly, facing the kids. *hey there. Im Hunter. I wont hurt you.* he hesitated, then stretched his arm out, berries in hand.

The small pokemon shrank back, looking bewildered, then scampered back to their hiding place. Scolipede growled softly, but made no move to attack.

Hunter didnt move, watching the tiny Pokmon. Hed worked with dogs. This was kinda the same. *i wont hurt you.*

Scolipede shook her head. "I see what you're trying to do. Don't bother." She said.

Hunter shrugged and tossed the food into the pile. *how do I talk to them? Or... do anything?*

"They've never seen your kind before." Scolipede replied. "And that's their reacrion."

Hunter nodded. *that makes sense. what do i do?*

"I doubt there's anything you can do." Scolipede replied. "In fact, I'd rather you do nothing."

Hunter winced and nodded, watching the Venepedes. *im sorry if i upset you in any way.*
