Scolipede's den was deep within the territory. Very deep. It took a good hour to reach it. When they arrived, the Megapede Pokemon gestured for Hunter to dismount.

Hunter slid off, careful not to startle her. He was pushing her trust doing this. He didnt want to ruin it.
