"Well, neithed am I, yet here we are," Sonic quipped. "And don't worry about Infinite. He's probably cowering in a cave somewhere as he tries to figure out why he can't beat us," Sonic chuckled again.

"Wouldn't it be easier to just go to the dorms?"

"Oh yeah."

Gadget laughed quietly. "Let's go then,"

She got up and walked to the dorms

Gadget led her down the hall. There were two rooms at the end of the hall, one on the left and the other on the right, and each room had three bunks up against the wall with shelves in between. Rookie paused to glance at a dent in the wall (evidence that Knuckles got ticked off at some point or another.) before opening the door on the right.

"Right" she said rolling her eyes

"Aw, cheer up, will ya?" Sonic said, elbowing Pearl in the arm. "Everything's gonna work out, so don't sweat it!" He glanced at Knuckles. "...What do you say we go get that bucket?"

"You go ahead..i'm not risking it" she said backing up

".....Im gonna do it. He won't be able to hit me anyway,"

A few minutes later...

There was a splash, a yelp of shock, a burst of laughter, a snarl of rage, a flash of blue followed by a streak of red, and a lot of insults yelled back and forth, but it only lasted about ten minutes. By the time it was over, both the hedgehog and the (rather irritated and wet) echidna were laying in the tall grass, gasping for breath.
