"I can to visit my daughter," Isabell explained as May gasped, looking shocked.

"Mom," The words felt strange to her.
She didn't move, unsure how to react.

Jacob gave him an emotionless smile, "I'm only popular to the mean kids," He said watching the two of them, "So why do you two want me?"

Jason raised his eye brows, looking to May.

Sharkfin didn't know what to say, and so looked to Ace. "We where just told to get him, right? Or was that going to be part of the plan before?"

May stayed frozen in place as Isabell watched her in silence.
"Why... did you leave us," She finally asked, her eyes starting to tear up, "Dad... he died."

Isabell nodded sadly, "I'm sorry. I was hiding. They where looking for me everywhere. I had to leave or you would have died. I'm so sorry, please forgive me."

"I'm not sure. Maybe we should ask Isabell," Ace suggested looking at Jacob, who was staring at nothing, his blank expression making Ace shiver.

Jason's arm around May tightened just a little, feeling bad for her.

"That would make sense." Sharkfin said. He noticed Ace shivered and unfurled his wings, putting one around Ace gently.

May didn't say anything, she just started to cry, leaning against Jason.

Isabell went away, over to Ace and Sharky.
"You caught him! He wasn't to hard to catch... I hope," She asked going over and poking Jacob, who watched her with a blank expression.

Ace smiled a bit, giving him a reassuring smile. He moved over to Jacob and put a hand on his forehead.
"Tell me where Emerald was," The words tumbled out of his mouth before he could stop them, he had meant to say Void.

"Who is that? Sounds to me like while you two where making out she got kidnapped," There was no emotion, not attitude, nothing, in his voice, he just stated the truth, nothing else.

Jason held May close. "Shhh, shhh. There, there." he said gently, voice soft.

Sharkfin blinked. "Wait... where is she? I haven't seen her for a bit."

May hugged him, burying her face in his shirt. She sobbed, not really sure how to feel. She felt like someone had plopped her in the middle of the ocean and told her to swim to shore. She didn't like the feeling.

"I... I don't know," Ace said, holding his knife subconsciously, used to hearing her voice while holding it, "Where do you think she went? I hope she is okay."

Jason stroked her hair, letting out his wings and wrapping them around her. They brought with them a cozy warmth. "Shhh, shhh." He wanted her to know he was there for her.


Sharkfin put a hand to Ace's. "Maybe she went for a walk."

May seemed to calm down a bit, still leaning against him. She stopped crying, brushing her tears away.
"Sorry, I shouldn't be crying," She murmured, knowing she was lucky her parents where even alive.

"If she went on a walk she would be back now, plus it's the middle of the night," Jacob added, sounding actually intelligent.

Ace wasn't going to cry in front of Jacob, so he put his knife away.
"I'm sure she's just walking through the school, we did see her walk out of the room."

Jason gently booped her nose. "You have the right, I can understand why you would. I did when my father just popped into my life." He said. His father was the dragon half of him.

Sharkfin nodded. "She could be just exploring."
