She's disguised as a boy so people don't recognize her as a princess quite as easily. The king would for sure recognize her.)

Ahelissa nodded and played with her hair as she listened to Remilia talk. When her owner mentioned the 'I'm not for sale to be given away' bit, Ahelissa flushed a deep red but said nothing. When Remilia finished, Ahelissa could not help but feel sorry for the duchess. Then she stopped herself. Why should she feel sorry for her owner, someone who agreed with and lived in the very castle that held Ahelissa enslaved? Remilia, the viper-tongued duchess? Ahelissa sighed and traced the scar on her forearm with her finger. No. Remilia was still a person, and nicer than most. She may even be fun and lively under the mask that she hid behind. Ahelissa paused as her finger finished tracing the jagged line in her flesh. No one alive knew of her backstory, but should she tell Remilia? Ahelissa felt as if that story was hers, and hers alone. She had played the scenes over and over in her mind, but it was no less painful each time. Maybe it was time to tell someone, to pour out the pain that had haunted her for six years.
