Claw smiled, then broke through the window, breaking it further. he looked around, then flicked his tail at Shadow in a hurry! motion.

Shadow leapt through the window, and motioned toward a cement path, where they wouldn't heave tracks.

Claw nodded, sniffed, and looked around carefully. seeing nothing, he ran down it, keeping to the... well, shadows.

Following closely, Shadow kept pace, making no sound. She was in her element.

Claw looked around for gaurds, frowning.

Shadow sensed it too: Where is everyone?

Suddenly, a guard detached himself from the shadows, brandishing a knife as though he was going to try to kill them.

Tara

How are you able to shape shift like me? Do all scientists here have powers like us?

Tara
"No, I'm the only one. The others whisper about me behind my back, as though I don't know, but the last one that said, 'Here, kitty, kitty, kitty,' is still in the infirmary. Not only is his face never going to look the same, but he'll be singing soprano. Permanently," Tara said, disgust at her coworkers obvious on her furry face.

Fala shook her head, annoyed by the coworkers. Just why do people do that? Youre not hurting anyone. Theres no reason to discriminate someone for being different.

"That's not the half of it! When I took warren as my assistant, the bawdy jokes started! Suggesting that we were lovers, that dogs and cats were getting together! Why do they think we have anything but a work relationship?" Tara seethed, venting.
