The color drained from the kid's face, but he soon snapped out of it and quickened his pace to match Lucas's. Oh sh!t, Oh sh!t, Oh sh!t, Oh sh!t, Oh sh!t-- "Haha." He said hoarsely, Like I need to be reminded of that. Plus, I'm totally useful at other things! Like hitting random strangers on the internet up with confusing and complicated science memes.

He pulled the boy to the ajar door and shoved him through the doorway before rushing through himself, slamming the door closed and keeping himself pressed against it in case it wasn't locked. "KOLIVAN? CHRIS? DEANNE? WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS? SARGE? KAI? OWL KID?!"

Benjamin flattened himself against the door as well. "Seriously dude? We're about to die and you call for the creepy kid who can probably slit our throats in an instant??" Ben stage whispered, bewildered.

"This is a crisis and I'd honestly prefer someone to come rather than no one!" He hissed back, his green eyes defiant slits and his dark hair a mess. "Besides, she's probably gonna slit our throats after torturing us because of that Croc stunt you pulled!"

"Yeah, that's fair." Ben gave up instantly. "Uh, if you don't mind, I'm gonna scream for help and throw the other croc down the stairs to see if anyone's coming."

"Solid plan." Lucas agreed with a nod, sliding a bit farther up so more of his back covered the door. "Now if you can you hurry it up just a tiny bit please I'd really appreciate that a lot, alright?!"

"OH MY GOD WE'RE GONNA DIE!! SOMEONE RESPONSIBLE AND HOPEFULLY ARMED GET THE HELL UP HERE!!!" Ben screeched as loud as he could, and as he started wheezing from a small asthma attack from all the dust in the stale air, he chucked the croc forcefully down the stairs.

"Do you hear anything?" Dee asked, throwing more kettle corn into her mouth as Chris switched through the channels on the TV.

The Superman successor frowned, then paused to think. "Me? No, actually."

"HURRY UP IDIOTS!" Lucas screamed from upstairs.

"Swear I heard it again." Dee muttered, and then that was when the message arrived. The pink Croc tumbled down from the stairs, and then fell from almost the top of the many stories above. It landed a few feet away from them. "What the heck?"

"WE'RE TOO YOUNG TO DIEEE." Ben screeched in pure terror and desperation. Besides! I still have that history paper to turn in and I am not dying with a B in history!

"Hey did anyone hear that?" Kolivan said passively from his spot in the dining area.

"Uh, yeah. Plus one of Ben's obnoxious Crocs fell from the heavens." Dee said with a laugh. "Kid's probably playing some stupid prank on us."

"What if he actually needs help?" Chris asked, his blue eyes so wide he looked like an innocent child.

She snorted. "Doubt it."
