She still doesn't seem to trust you and scuttles from the room, heading down the staircase right away. She was moving a little too fast for you, and you struggled to keep up.
When she got down to the first landing she ran into the door on the left if one were looking towards the staircase. You followed, and it appeared to be some sort of extravagant dining room.
There was a hall leading away from the dining room, and you saw something like the tip of Emma's apron vanish around the corner.
You haven't seen the house yet, you are at a place where a small road diverges off of the main road. You can choose to go down the small road, continue down the main road, or do something like ignore both roads completely and head into the forest or something.
Sorry if I seem overly pushy or anything, but in the rules it stated that you must progress at least once every three days or so.
If you are leaving for some time or wish to quit this RPG, please do tell me.
If you want to continue, tell me if you want to keep to the lighter path which you are on or go down the bloody, dark path.

(Sorry! I thought I had answered to this!)
Clint keeps to the main road, hoping it will take him towards the mansion.

((It's okay. Do check back every so often if you don't find a reply from me; I'm rather active, so, ya know.))
Do you want your character to go down the more bloody storyline or the lighter?
You reach a pair of crooked iron gates, one of then hanging off of its hinges, allowing you into the garden beyond. The garden didn't look any better, it was full of dead weeds and other withered plants. In the center of the place, there was a broken down mansion that had seen better days.

Interest ping?
I swear this is not a mystery RPG and you do not have to solve anything unless you want to, which then I will give you mysteries to solve.
Edit: it's a late interest ping, but ow0

I follow what I think is Emma

Nope, no Emma. You were now in a hallway with three doors on the right and one door on the left. There was also a door at the end of the corridor.

I growl with frustration and go to each door. listening for voices or some sign of people.

Your search comes up positive-
The door to the left, and the first two doors to the right. The doors seemed to be good at blocking sound to a certain extent, though, because beyond hearing voices, you couldn't figure out what gender or age the speaker's were.
