Simultaneously, the middle and right doors all sprouted spikes, while the middle one then burst into flames and the right one shot spears. "Seems like none of them are safe. Or, maybe it's just a safety precaution." Focus said as the middle door continued to burn, although suspiciously the wooden door was perfectly fine under the fire.

"Safety...right..." As the fire on the middle door burned, Iist looked at the sundial spire just in case there were any details that she missed on it. "Is there a way to put out the fire on the door?"

"Put out the fire?" Focus asked, clicking her talons as the fire extinguished. "Like this?"

"Yeah, like that!" Iist approached the middle door, but didn't get close enough, in case there were more booby traps that laid in wait for her. "Can you check for any...other surprises, before we try this door?"

"Not anything from the door itself," Focus said. "Maybe inside the door? The door itself is now safe."

"Good enough for me." Iist walked up to the door and pressed her hand to its surface the same way she did with the door before, but this time she braced herself for any unexpected effects.

The door was burning hot, although you managed to ease it open slowly. Beyond it, a dark tunnel that went down gaped at you.

Iist looked at the dark tunnel that seemed to look back at her like an abyss. She turned to Focus and walked back to her. "I think we should get Uje over here before going through the door. Assuming that IS the door we're looking for." She felt like the door was a path of no return, and the duo have been away from the deer for too long.

"So... you want me to fly him here? I can do that, but you'll have to wait alone since I can't carry two things at once." Focus suggested.

"Oh, I was thinking that if you couldn't carry him here, we could fly back and walk him here." Iist bowed her head, scratching it shyly. "But it'd be quicker if you could take him here, yeah. And I'd really appreciate it. I already appreciate you helping me get here. I don't mind waiting." She walked away from the doors and sundial, hiding behind a rock to shield her from any incoming attacks from the doors ot the warrior carving.

"Okay, but stay safe. We don't know what's going to happen around here." Focus flies off, and the moment she does, you feel someone or something tap your shoulder.
