She scurried back, terrified, and kicked at him. *get back!* she cried, sobbing.

Her foot hits him square in the nose. He yelps in surprise, falling onto his back.

She scrambled backwards before her back hit a tree. She froze, whimpering.

He gets back to his feet, glaring. Then he grows bigger, and bigger, until in the wolf's place is a gigantic, lumbering brown bear.

She paled and curled into a ball. Then she froze, realizing something. It transformed. She jumped up as a presence entered their minds, yelling, *wait!*

Matt backed up, nervous and confused. *what?* he

He stumbles backwards in surprise, making a sort of chuffing sound.

The presence said again, *you both are sprites. So am I. Im sorry about kicking you. I was scared.*

He chuffs again, and turns back into a deer.

She blinked. *so you become animals, huh?*

He nods, flicking his now fluffy tail.
