Austyn went ahead and jumped in the water. He went ahead and showed off his new skill of talking West's language to Zio.

Azrail was mumbling something in his sleep, something about... cooking. His hair was plastered to his face with sweat, he grew really hot at night. He twitches, his leg kicking Will before he settled again, muttering about fire. He turns and hugs Will, burrowing his face in Will's chest.

Zio watched Austyn, rolling his eyes. He didn't mind Austyn talking, listening and correcting him if he made any mistakes. West watched in silence, laying down.

Will flinched a bit as he got kicked, yelping a bit. He was worried that being closer to him might get him more hot then remembered he was like a walking snowman. His face went even more red as Azrail buried his face in his chest, making a flustered squeak noise. He didn't move him though, patting his head awkwardly.

Austyn takes the help graciously. He was excited that he had learned a new language, one that Riley hasn't learned. That's a feat. He kept chatting excitedly.

Azrail seems to settle after that.
Riley climbs down the tree, hopping of a low branch and landing safely in the ground. He glanced at Azrail and Will and smiles. "Hesitant to wake the sleeping beauty?" He asks Will, stretching before he searches through Azrail's bag, scavenging for something to eat. He finds an apple and a banana and decided to keep the apple, placing the banana back where he found it.

(My brain: Roleplay? *Sees one reply* No roleplay...? Me: Let's create more roleplays! School: *Laughs* Nope! Me: *Ignores* Just need an idea!)

Zio waited for a moment, thinking, "Where is North," They asked West.
"Under water. Must swim," West growled, more of a short and simple speaker.
Zio nodded, poking the water, "Uh... what if we can't breathe?"
"Magic. Sand dollars," West pulled out three toonie sized sand dollars, holding them out, "Then breathe under water."

Will was perfectly fine with staying like that until Riley came over. He huffed at what Riley said, gently pushing Azrail away as he stood up.
"We should wait," He tells Riley grabbing the banana and opening it, accidently freezing the inside, "Before we leave. Plus he looks like he needs rest. I do not. For now, I can't believe I have a stupid curse. That may explain why I always lay next to the fire at night though."

(There's a lot of ideas in the world around us. What about a zombie apocalypse starting from COVID? Edit: And it doesn't have to be covid. But everyone's homeschooled (Edit: They don't have to be) and hardly anyone's infected(Edit: or the whole world is and it's just survivors)! (an idea I think I'm gonna turn into a book. Edit: If I ever get to it. xD))

"I was planning on going underwater anyways! I already did a polar plunge. Hey, do those actually help you breathe underwater? That's so cool! I've always wanted to breathe underwater." Austyn chatters. Churrio didn't seem too eager to get her feathers wet.

Riley eats his apple, shuddering when fire was mentioned. His eyes glazed over and he seemed to be taken back in time. After a moment, he shakes himself loose of the memory. "Um, we can leave now and take breaks later." He says then smiles, eyes twinkling mischievously, "And if he is sleeping beauty, why don't you wake him with a kiss already." He finishes the apple, tossing the core and watching it disappear into the trees, where it ended up smacking against a tree.

(Sounds cool! You keep that book idea! That sounds funny and great! I wanted to do the Chosen Ones but I'm toooo attached to it to put it here, it's a very old irl roleplay type of thing I did with my neighbor)

West nods, handing one to him, "Eat," Was all they said as Zio translated it for Churrio (xD, she's been re-named xD).
Zio took one, eating it. It crunched in her mouth, making her want to spit it out. It tasted like... she gasped. It was the blueberry pie her mom used to make her before she died, when she was just a year old. She went into the water as West followed, walking under it. She followed him, taking a moment to realize West wasn't breathing... maybe they didn't need to breathe?

West ate his apple, barely noticing how Riley seemed to freeze at the world fire. He ate the banana quickly, almost choking when Riley said he should kiss Azrail.
"Wh-hat, why would I do that," He said looking shocked as he backed away, tripping and falling.
He got up, darkness leaking into his thoughts, "No way, I'm not kissing him. You do it," He huffed turning away as he tried to push his thoughts away, failing to.
"I... need a moment," He walked into the woods, going to collect his thoughts.

( That sounds awesome! wish I had awesome neighbors. Eh, doesn't matter. I've got amazing siblings. ;p )

Austyn didn't care much about how it tasted if it tasted good or bad. He climbed a tree and cannonballed inside the water, swimming and having fun to his hearts content with his new ability.

"If I do, it won't work. Gotta be a true love's kiss. Course, I can always shake him awake." Riley says, watching Will head off. He nudges Azrail with his toe before kicking him nontoogently in the ribs. Azrail doubles over, waking up almost instantly.
'Why?' He signs, sitting up.
"Because why not." Riley shrugs, offering Azrail good from the healers bag. Azrail glares at Riley but accepts the food.

(It is =3. It was about magic necklaces that gave you powers, a bit like Amulet (I probably got the idea from it xD)... I wish my sibling was amazing!)

Zio was staring around as he swam deeper and deeper. West was at the bottom, sinking like a rock. They growled something and Zio nodded, a bit surprised he could hear them.
"They warn us not to be tooo talkative," He glanced at Austyn, even though he knew Austyn already understood what West had said.

Will grumbles, walking away. He found a nice tree and climbed it, feeling the temperature around him plummet without someone to warm him up. He was feeling even colder, if that was even possible. He ruffled his hair, realizing it had frost on it, weirdly enough. He sighed, taking out a knife he had. He gently pushed it against his wrist, watching blood run down and drip to the forest floor.
"Maybe it's better if I'm dead," He muttered to himself sadly, "All this trouble for me, they should just let me die then risking their lives for mine. I know what lays there..."

Austyn nods and cuts off some of his chatter, but he kept a cheerful conversation with himself going. Churrio was not liking the water at all. She kept glancing at her wings. She wasn't like a duck and her wings were getting water logged. This wasn't good.

'Right. Where's Will?' Azrail signs, nibbling on his food, not feeling too hungry, the kick having upset his stomach. the dagger wound was giving him some trouble, seeming to dig right into his ribs and cut off his breath.
"He decided he didn't want to be your Prince charming." Riley shrugs. Azrail gives him an appalled glance. He gets to his feet.
'Where'd he go? Is he ok?' Azrail asks.
"That way, and I have no idea. He said he needed a moment." Riley says.
'Its been more than a moment. If I don't return in three minutes, expect something happened and either come after or abandon us.' Azrail says, shrugging his pack into his shoulders. Riley sits down and sighs.
"At this pace we'll never arrive at our destination." He grumbled. "Just stay here he'll be back soon enough." Azrail looks torn before he reluctantly agrees.

West points ahead to a giant cave. It was lit up brightly, with giant crabs at the entrance. West walked up, passing easily. Zio passed easily past them as well, though she was a little nervous to pass crabs with giant pinchers.

Will sighed, leaning back against the tree, "Should I really lead them to their doom like my mother," He sighed again, feeling absolutely miserable.
Then he had an idea, what if he went alone? He smiled a bit at the thought, he wouldn't hurt them, they would be okay. If he died... it would be better then others dying for him. He jumped down to the ground, putting his knife away, he wiped his bleeding wrist on the grass before running towards where he needed to go. He hoped they would give up and not bother trying to find him. It would be better to go alone.
