Gail peeled herself off the floor. "I'm great, thanks." Her voice tight. The tall hawk warrior rose to her feet, shedding her shin plating. "Right here you bunch of pu**ies." In a second Gail went from Gail to Not-Gail.

Being a quick thinker, the words that tumbled out of Lucas' mouth were off the top of his head. "Okay Gail, is that your new favorite word, or..?" As he spoke, he seemed to realize how stupid what he said was, because this was quite obviously not Gail... at least, he thought, since the owner of the voice seemed to be claiming they were the 'other person'.

"Stop it right there" He yelled, pointing to Ben. "Not one step! Or else I'll make the kid fight you. He's, um... he can knock you out if you get closer."

Ben coughed nervously, "I have a croc and I'm not afraid to use it." He brandished the ugly as f**k hot pink crocodile croc like a sword.

Not-Gail hissed, wrinkling her nose in disgust. "That thing is more hideous than your colleagues."

"Yeah, she agrees with- wait, colleagues? Excuse me?" Lucas asked, his green eyes widening slightly at the plethora of insults she had slipped into the one phrase. Poor Croc makers. They just wanted to keep everyone's feet comfortable. He banished the thought from his head at the moment, realizing Not-Gail could rip them to shreds if she felt the urge to. "Who are you?" And where the hell is my ring?

"And why," Not-Gail clicked her tongue, examining their short nails as if they had something better to do. The possibly possessed Hawk warrior leaned forward for more dramatic effect. "should I do that?" They taunted.

"Who are you?" He repeated, trying his best to will his voice from wavering. He didn't move either, though he now regretted that in case the woman decided to lunge forward. "And what are you doing to Gail?"

Not-Gail stood straight, "Do you honestly expect me to answer you mortal, and your puny accomplice and his hideous slab of foam..?" they hissed, enjoying their little game.

"Yes." He said it without his voice shaking this time, trying to fix his posture so he looked somewhat taller and less scared than he was feeling. "That's pretty much the idea. You seem to prideful to hide your identity for too long, whoever you are."

Not-Gail smirked, "Is that so?" They purred, their red gaze (I'm pretty sure their eyes are red whenever Chay-Ara takes over) locked onto the nerdy homeless guy.

Kay great. Now's my chance to shine. Ben thought, slowly rearing back his arm. "YEET!" He threw the pink crocodile croc at Not-Gail, and it hit her square in the jaw.

It took Lucas a moment to realize that the kid had actually done something useful. "So you're good at things other than dead-body-finding!" He mused insensitively. "But I think all it's gonna do is make her angrier!" He yelled, running back towards the door. He snatched Ben's arm and tried to drag the kid before the bird lady recovered.
