Vixen took a moment to process what he said, she smiled and pet his head gently.

" Im sorry. I haven't told anyone this, its been bottled up inside me for a long time. Im glad to have you as my friend. " She said, wiping her face. " I still cant figure out why you're so easy to talk to. "

Bird-Henry chirruped. "It's okay. Sometimes it's good to share." He said.

" Its been a long day. Wanna head back to our room? " She asked, feeling very tired.

Henry flapped his wings. "Alright."

" Thank you. For what you said back there. " She said as they walked to the room.

Henry fluttered along, "Anything for a friend."

Friend. She thought. What a lovely word...

She opened the door softly and threw her shoes by her bag. She could barely get on the bed before falling asleep. Her head rested on her elbows on the bed, and she sat upright with her knees on the floor.

Henry fluttered over to his bag. He dragged open the heavy zipper and pulled out an old, tattered, and singed blanket with his beak. For a little bird, he was tough.

when the door closed i opened my eyes drowsily, i got up stretched, i went over to door, i turned into my half form, opened the door, went back to my fox form, closed the door and went to the kitchen and rummaged through the cabinets trying to find something to eat, while i was looking i found some apples, i turned into my half form and ate the apple.

Vixen started mumbling in her sleep. She then shifted form her head on the bed, to laying on the floor. She curled up, the mumbling starting to grow clearer.

" Im sorry. Please dont hurt me... " She mumbled, she curled up tighter. " Stop! " She said louder.

She turned to her right side. She was breathing harder, and was curled up very tight.

( Vixen was abused by people that " adopted " her. They wanted her to rob/ destroy places for them, and every time she screwed up, they hurt her. She has numerous scars along her arms, and she always wears long sleeves to cover them up. )

She snapped awake. She was breathing hard and was sweating. She hugged her knees and buried her face in her knees. She rocked back and fourth silently.
